A Deal with the Lizard Queen

Ivellise is surprised, after hearing all of their combative words, their pride filled retorts, their moxy.

So to hear one of them, especially one as sassy, sarcastic and snappy as Amilia.

Ivellise then says, "A deal hmm? Well considering you service my people already, unless you're planning to offer your body as a breeding vessel, but even then, i'm afraid there's no deal".

"What about if I gave you a demon-kissed?" Amilia says, confusing her party but her offer peeks Ivellise's interest.

Ivellise thinks about it for a few seconds before saying, "Okay, say if I were to consider, what would you gain from it?".

Amilia grins, "Easy, my debt with you would be cleared and I don't have to suck their filthy cocks anymore".

Ivellise chuckles, Amilia's words filled with purpose, almost impressing the lizard queen of the Darkcross, so she gestures for Amilia to stand which the cat does.

"So, in exchange for no longer being in debt to the Darkcross and no longer a courtesan for my people, you would personally deliver me a demon-kissed?" Ivellise asks with that velvet voice of hers.

"Oh, and the fairy" Amilia adds, making Lani shake with fear.

Ivellise is confused, "Well as you know, I would have no control over the fairy anyway so, your finally wish is granted".

Ivellise then puts her hand out in a royal form, the back of her hand facing Amilia as it hangs down, Amilia then takes it before planting a kiss on the back of her hand, seemingly cementing their deal.

Ivellise then pulls her hand back before saying, "Alright, where is this demon-kissed you say you can bring?".

"Oh, he's already here, he's currently kneeling beside the orc" Amilia says with a smug tone.

Ivellise's eyes go wide as she now looks at John, that's when Kyuala shouts out, "AMILIA! YOU WHORE! I'M GOING TO FUCKING SKIN YOU AND USE YOU AS A CARPET!".

An intense looked is exchanged between Amilia and Kyuala for a few seconds, but it's all interrupted as John is grabbed by the guards and brought over to Ivellise's throne.

Ivellise now eyes up John intently once again, before she saw him as a nerve to press against Kyuala but now she seems him as a tool, as a weapon for her to wield, power for her to have, or to put it simply, she sees him as the one thing she loves the most,

Profit.

Ivellise then simply asks, "Where is his mark?".

"His right arm" Amilia answers, now standing beside Ivellise rather than in front of her.

Ivellise clicks her fingers and then two guards grab John with one ripping away the right sleeve of his shirt, exposing his blue mark for all eyes to see.

Ivellise stares at the mark and a twinkle appears in her eye but with her twinkle comes confusion as she asks, "His mark, why is it blue?" Her head now slightly turned to Amilia.

"From what he told me, some warlocks did some weird ritual when they summoned the demon and from what i've seen, he's pretty deadly when it comes to fighting, guess you're lucky you had this many people" Amilia responds, her response making Ivellise smile.

"So he's powerful huh? Oh have I got such wonderful uses for you my dear" Ivellise says with frightening intent behind her words.

Ivellise gets close to John's face, once again, only a few inches away, similar to just before she kissed him, in that split moment, John decides to be bold and spits in her face.

Ivellise pulls back on disgust and shock, wiping away the large glob spit on her cheek, she then whips her hand down, sending the spit down onto the ground.

An intense moment passes within the grotto, everyone standing in silence at they await Ivellise's response.

The lizard queen takes a few angered breaths and then in a single swift motion, her hand whips up from its position striking John in the face, hitting him hard.

"HOW, DARE, YOU!" Ivellise bellows, drowning out the echo of the meaty slap with her roaring words.

The Lizard Queen takes a moment, staring right at him before shouting her orders, "TAKE HIM AND THE WHORE ORC DOWN INTO THE CAGES! AND CAGE THE FAIRY FOR THE CAT!".

Without a second wasted, the guards knock out both Kyuala and John while one grabs Lani who is trying to fight but it's not working as the guard has a tight grip on her while attempting to tie her up with bow string.

As Lani is struggling to fight, Amilia looks at her friends, seeing Lani get captured while John and Kyuala are dragged out of the grotto and taken down a slope outside the room at the left of the throne.
