"Yeah, about that doc. I'm not gonna be paying for this. Sorry."

He stammers and looks back and forth between you and the diagnostic unit. You feel confident enough that you can take this guy on if he tries anything, now you've got some more charge in your system.

Should've asked for it upfront.

"If you don't have any money, we can work something out? I could use the assistance of a capable woman like yourself, we could treat that as payment?"

You lean to the side so you're facing him, and smile.

"Had enough people trying to take advantage of me today. I'll pass."

His expression hardens. He looks more annoyed than upset.

"You can't just not pay!"

You break out into a smirk.

"Watch me."

You cross your arms, ready to spring into action if he makes a move. He just looks at you with an open mouth, hunched over his diagnostic terminal.
