He tries, but you're too fast.

You see him glance at a button on his terminal, your sensors tracking the exact movement. When he tries to press it, thinking you won't notice, you're on you're feet before he's moved an inch, grabbing him by the hand and shoulder. He flinches back in fear, while you effortlessly hold him away from the machine. Turning to look at the screen, you read the words "ENGAGE SLEEP MODE", activated by the button he tried to push.

In an instant, you remove the cable from your neck.

"You were going to try and knock me out?"

Before he can react to your words, you're standing inches from his face. A moment later, one of your hands is around his neck, lifting him bodily into the air.

He struggles weakly in your grasp while you decide what to do with him. Eventually, you settle on beating him into unconsciousness and robbing him blind as the best option available to you right now, since he'll definitely tell the guards about this and that's the last thing you need right now. All it takes is a single strike to the forehead from you're free hand, and he falls silent. You drop him down into the medical chair, and begin ransacking the place for all the valuables you can find. Money, supplies, painkillers, everything you can reasonably carry without drawing attention.

On your way out, you subtly bend the door handle backwards, preventing it from opening. It'll probably buy you a few hours, at least. You give a smile to the receptionist, who doesn't acknowledge your presence, and step back out into the towns streets.
