Queen Amaumet answers Tina's Question

Like I said in my 1st written chapter,this is an off-shoot from the original story line. It is not to be confused with bam316's original story line. A sand portal appeared in the dinning area of Tina's Mothers house, Seiko motioned Tina to join her. Tina got up, kissed Pete and said "I will explain every thing later Love, I promise". With the rest of the hive members looking at her, Tina smiled and said, "cann't a girl have a secret". With that, she stepped into the sand portal and was gone. The portal opened in Queen Amaumet's quarters, standing there to greet them was the Queen and her priestesses. "Welcome Tina" the Queen said. "You asked Seiko a strange question last night and I am wondering why", replied the Queen. Tina replied, "I thought if we were true Lamina, we would be stronger, faster, larger, and most important, we would be better able to protect you Queen Amaumet". "Your reasons are sound Tina and make a good case for your question", replied Amaumet. Amaumet looked at Seiko, then to the rest of her priestesses who nodded to her. Taking a few seconds to gather her thoughts, Amuamet spoke , "there was a species called Lamina eons ago". "But they were a cruel race, subjecting the humans living around them to acts of barbarism, ****, ****, slavery, stealing women from their family and other crimes, said Amaumet. " Finally the humans' revolted and in a bloody battle killed all the Lamina" said Amaumet. "A few escaped to Egypt and settled here and learning from their lessons in Greece, lived peacefully but in self-isolation", Amaumet continued. "They finally died out several eons ago" she said. Seiko picked up on the story, " before they died off, I went to their last remaining village and talked with the village leader". "She told me about their past history in Greece and the great mistake in not trying to live along side the humans, but in trying to subject them" she said. "Seeing I was the Snake Goddess, she asked if I would be willing to take the last egg laid in the village and raise it as my own", said Seiko. "At 1st , I did not want to, but she pleaded, almost begged me to take the egg, saying I was their last hope of her race not becoming extinct, finally I relented and took the egg" continued Seiko. When I returned , I had Amauent's Mother place the egg in a hibernation spell", said Seiko. "Whatever happened to the egg " asked Tina. "It was placed in Amaumet's Mother's tomb", replied Seiko. "If they brought every thing from her tomb", replied Tina, "there is a good chance it is at the museum ". Queen Amaumet, is there a spell for invisibility", asked Tina. "Yes, there is, but what are you planning" asked Amaumet. Tina replied, "with the spell, I plan on sneaking into the museum and stealing the egg". "Not without me ", replied Pete. "I do not need any help" snapped Tina. Pete snapped right back, you do not know how big it is and what if you run into any trouble". Amaumet interjected, "you both will go and that is not up for argument". Amaumet opened a portal, chanted a spell in which Tina and Pete disappeared and told them to step into the portal. They reappeared in the museum storage room. "God ", exclaimed Tina, " I did not know it was so big and had so many crates in it". "The crates are labeled, you start down one aisle and I will start down another" said Pete. Halfway through their search Tina called out, "I found it" Pete lifted the medium size crate off the middle shelf and asked Tina to hit her bracelet to signal Seiko to open a portal for them. The portal opened and they returned to Queen Amaumet's apartment. Tina changed into her gorgon form, placed one of her elbow disk under the lid pushing her disk under the edge and flexing her arm muscles popping the lid on that side. Repeating the same procedure on the other side revealing the crate's content. "Damn, that is one huge egg", exclaimed Tina. Amaumet took charge, "Seiko, remove the egg from the crate please". Seiko bend over in her snake form and tenderly removed the egg. Amaumet cast another spell creating a large incubator. "Place the egg in the incubator Seiko" said Amaumet. "We all will now have to take turns watching the egg in the incubator making sure it is turned every 3 hours so it gets equal sunlight", she said. "I am wondering what will hatch" said Amaumet more to herself than anyone else.
