A New Life emerges.

All took turns observing and rotating the egg. The incubator lights revealed a form inside the egg but it was impossible to tell what it was. After 4 weeks movement could be detected inside the egg. As 4 grew into 9, the movement increased. At the end of 15 weeks, the movement stopped and a tapping sound was heard from the egg. Suddenly a small claw burst from the shell follower by 2 more. Then 5 from the other hand plus the remaining 2 of the 1st hand punched through the shell. All stood watching as 2 small hands emerged from the shell and begin to widen the initial opening. Sekio quickly moved to help the newborn emerge from the eggshell. She widens the opening and out silvers an infant female lamina. The infant began to cry softly as she did not know where she was at nor did she see any of her kind. Reaching down Sekio gently picked the infant lamina up. The infant begins to root at Sekio's breast. "She is hungry". said Queen Amaumet. Taking the infant from Sekio, Queen Amaumet guides the infant to her right nipple. The infant immediately latches on and begins to suckle.
