Surpisingly, Yes

You can imagine my surprise when I managed to finish washing myself without interruption. I had expected them to come bursting in at any minute, but even as I rinsed the last of the soap off, there was nothing. Had I misjudged their programming?

My confusion and worry was doubled when I exited the shower to see the bathroom door had been closed. Now this was really befuddling. Had something gone wrong with them? ...good thing robo-sluts have a three year warranty. Still, if something was wrong with them, I was going to give the company a piece of my mind. "Special offer" indeed.

After drying off and dressing myself, I opened the door. Still no sign of them. Had I imagined them or something? As I stood in the hall, thinking, I heard something. A sharp *POP* of bubble gum coming from my living room. Perking my ears, I heard something else. ...the sound of a keyboard in use. I crept closer to the entry way to the living room and peered inside.

Sitting at my computer was Peridot, eyes wide and jaw hanging open. Lapis was hanging on the chair, looking over her shoulder in a similar manner. Whatever they were looking at seemed to have their undivided attention. Okay, now I was too curious. I approached for a better look. What could possibly...?

Apparently they had logged on to Google. The search bar had in it, "What is the odd appendage between the legs of a male human called?" Well, that's in my search history now. They were apparently trying to decide which link to click. I cleared my throat. Nothing. Of course not. I crept even closer until I could have reached past Lapis and touched the tip of Peridot's hair. "AHEM!"

The response was immediate. Lapis jumped, knocking the chair over and spilling Peridot to the floor. Thankfully the chair fell to the left and didn't launch Peridot into the computer screen. Grumbling, the smaller Gem sat up, adjusting her visor and rubbing her nose. "Something I can you help two with?" I questioned, making my displeasure known. My computer was password protected, as most are. This meant the pint sized sneak had hacked it somehow. That is just rude.

Lapis held up her hands in a placating manner as Peridot stood up, brushing off her lab coat, then checking to see if her recording device was intact. "Calm down, dude. We...you know, were observing you and...we saw that thing you have..."

"His 'penis'," Peridot interjected.

Nodding, Lapis rolled her eyes. "Yeah, your 'penis'. We just wanted to know what it was. You seemed...I dunno, busy, so..."

"So you decided to get onto my computer, hack the password, and find out for yourselves?" I supplied, giving the pair a disapproving look. They both looked contrite, eyes cast downward. "Well, when you phrase it that way," Peridot mumbled, "I suppose it was rather...invasive. I apologize." Excitement suddenly shot through her. "But I HAD to know! It...it was just...I had never seen such a...and..." She continued to babble for a bit, her visor fogging up for some reason as her chest rose and fell faster and faster.

"It...does look kinda...I dunno...interestin'?" Lapis muttered. This brought Peridot out of her rambling loop. "Yes! Very interesting! As a scientist, I must know more. I need to see it, touch it, taste...well, maybe not taste..." Oh, I wouldn't be so sure of that, Peri.

Sighing, I shrugged. "Well, I'm right here. Examine away." ...maybe I shouldn't have said that.
