Go in together

"Going in alone sounds like a bad idea," you immediately reply. "Nell is right, we should all go in together." You give Nell a smile, relieved that you could fall back on his suggestion instead of having to confront Adi yourself.

"Fine, fine," Adi moans. "We can go in together. But I'm going in last." You're surprised that the normally quite headstrong fighter folded so quickly. He must not have wanted to argue with Nell over this.

Nell is the one who takes the lead on your new mission, holding his torch high and into the passage. When he's satisfied that it's safe enough, he turns back to you and says quietly, "Stay close behind me. This isn't a very wide hall." You nod back, not wanting to end up alone in this dungeon. Nell takes a single careful step onto the smooth floor, then another. You follow right behind him, close enough that you could easily grab on to Nell's tunic if you had to. As soon as both of your feet are over the threshold you turn back for a moment to make sure Jon and Adi are following behind. To your relief, Jon is right in step behind you, almost bumping straight into your exposed chest. He stops suddenly and looks to the side, trying to not appear like he's staring. You begin blushing and turn back around, trying and only mostly succeeding to stay focused on the task at hand.

The moment Adi steps out of the cave and passes into the smooth stone halls of the dungeon, the walls shudder violently. The quake lasts only for a moment but you all stop to look at each other before realizing what's happened. Adi cries out, hands against the flat stone that is now in the place of your entrance.

"Good thing we all walked through together," Jon pipes up, half musing to himself and half taking a jab at Adi in his moment of shock.

"Well there's only one way to go now," Nell muses. "Careful, now. No idea what surprises are waiting for us this way." He gives one last look back to Adi, who gives an exaggerated sigh in return before the four of you begin trudging ahead, towards whatever lies in wait for you.
