Leave Home

You realize that if you go out, you will need to dress properly. You can't walk around in your pajamas. You quickly go up to your room and get dressed in some casual clothes. A white shirt, a black sweatshirt, tight jeans and all-stars on the feet. Do you empty your backpack and fill it with clothes, water bottles and… cookies? You also get a kitchen knife.

In one of your pockets are your wallet with your ID, and in the other your cell phone, although there is still no sign.

Before you leave the house, you stick half a loaf of bread in your mouth just so you don't have an empty stomach.

Now, on the street, you need to decide where to go.

You can go on foot until you reach the military base, or you can ask for help from one of your neighbors. You see two of them who are still preparing to leave:

Walter is a gross man of about fifty, although he appears to be older. He looks kind of cranky under that mustache. He has no children and lives alone in the house next door. He is a good friend of your aunt. He doesn't seem to have anything against you and besides himself, his car is empty.

Mia is your front neighbor. She is a married woman with a son a little bit older than you. Her husband is a businessman and is out of the country, so you assume she might want extra help on this trip. She's almost leaving.
