Rogue declines

"Sorry, but I got a busy day tomorrow so I gotta get going." She said, getting a disappointed sigh from Flex.

"You sure about that, I got some lines of edge back at my place with your name on it." He said with a wink as he pulled her close.

Despite her wish to follow him, get higher and get her brains fucked out, she decided to leave well enough alone.

"I'd love to stay, but the later I'm up, the later I get up and right now I can't afford that." She said.

It took a bit of gentle arguing and the promise that she'd call him tomorrow to set up their next date in a few days, but eventually Flex was willing to settle for one last goodnight kiss (and a grab of her ass) before she went back to her apartment.

It had been a wild night, ever crazier than the first night she and Flex had fucked and she wanted more, but she had to rest and take a few days to gather herself.

She went back to her apartment, locked the door behind her and watched TV (while take a bit of time out to masturbate a few times) until the adrenaline left her body enough to allow her to fall asleep.

She fell asleep with thoughts of how every day was bringing leaps and bounds of progress.

If she kept going like this, she was certain that she'd have the rats identity sooner rather than later and then she could get back to the X-men and put it all behind her.

Rogue awoke with a start as she realized she might not be the only one in the apartment.

There wasn't a great deal of noise, but there was enough to wake her up and make her concerned.

She crept out of bed, and began moving around as quietly as she could.

If she was lucky it was just some cat burger that she'd subdue and send scrambling for their life with fear when they realized just whose apartment they had broken into, but Rogue's luck was never the greatest on that front.

It could have been anyone, from another one of the Muties trying to spy on her, to an X-Man who had found her address and wanted to check up on her to a villain who had heard some rumors that Rogue was now a free agent and had hunted her down to test their luck against her.

No matter which one it was, there was going to be hell to pay.

She slipped to the entrance of the front room, the place the most noise had come from, and readied herself for what she was about to find.
