You Want Her...Dead

You step toward her. She smiles, thinking she has you. You draw even with Tasha’s body.

In one smooth motion you drop to your knees and grab her dagger. You grimace in pain as the skin on your hand sizzles. With supernatural speed you swing it at Elise.

At the last second she manages to bend away and the dagger merely scratches her.

Her eyes become angry, red glowing, slits.

“I’m going to tear out your entrails and wear them like a scarf, sub-creature.”

She swings a taloned hand at you gouging your shoulder. You wince as it begins to heal.

The dagger seems to burn your hand even more. You need to end this quickly. You grit your teeth and charge her. Her talons rake across your abdomen leaving deep gouges. You are fairly certain she has punctured your liver and a kidney. However, it brings you close enough to drive your dagger into her chest.

Elise screams in pain, shock, and disbelief. She falls to the floor her skin bubbling. Your heart stops. Suddenly everything goes black.

You open your eyes. You feel great. You run a hand along your abdomen and it is healed. You have no idea how long you’ve been out.

You look to your side and see a bubbling, smoking pile of goo that used to be Elise. You assume you haven’t been out too long.

You examine yourself. Your hands are pale and end in sharp black fingernails. You can hear much better than ever before. You can plainly make out a heartbeat coming from Tasha. Oddly, you don’t hear your own heart beating.

You stand. In your head you hear Gina.

“Excellent job, Linda. Vespa will be pleased. Now, go see if you can poach the clairvoyant from those whores.”

You nod, running your tongue along newly grown fangs. You look at the blessed dagger. It glows and repulses you. Hopefully, you can get by with just your new powers. Nearby, Tasha is still ****. At the moment she is of no use to you.

You glide down the hallway. You open the door at the end of the hall. You see Cassandra...
