"I think I should stay here..."

"Yeah...Shari and I got talking earlier. We're going to hang out and watch the latest episode of Reign. I know how much you hate that show, so if you want to go, I understand," you say, making up a story.

"Yeah...it's cool with me," Shari says, picking up what you put down. "The latest episode was the two-hour season finale, so...it's gonna be pretty late when it's over. We're gonna have to go straight to bed when it's done," she adds.

Alice walks to bedroom door, and says "okay...I have everything packed up...have fun, you two". Shari gets up to hug Alice, and Alice weakly hugs back around Shari's waist, still avoiding eye contact. You say, "shower sounds good...do you have anything I can change into?"

Shari looks at you and says, "dude, we just fucked. Just stay naked."

"All right," you say, going into the bathroom. You rinse yourself off in the shower, and go back in the bedroom. You see Shari's shorts and shirt on the floor, and she's already gotten in bed with the covers up to her waist. You get in next to her, and cuddle up to watch the show.
