My current favorites but maybe more feminine?

Thomas brought in the bags from the car, having spent the afternoon trying not to commit any number of felonies to get out of antiquing with Darlene, and had managed to get out with his sanity intact only 4 hours after they started (a record, considering they once had spent 9 hours.) As they continued to unload the car, he brushed his hair from his face and then paused for a moment, wondering why he was doing so (shouldn't he be bald?) but the idea didn't seem likely. No, his mom had a lot of hair still and he often commented growing up that he found it all over the place. No, this wasn't unusual at all, he mused, and as he came into the kitchen, he spotted what he was looking for. After the bag was on the table, he reached down and picked up a pink hair band and took a few moments to make sure that he had his hair organized enough and pulled it through the band. Although it was just enough to have a small ponytail, there was enough and it was better to keep from swishing on his neck and getting in the way.

"Last one?"

Darlene nodded and he plipped the control and the trunk slowly closed and after it was shut, the auto doors locked and he closed the door behind them. The two of them just laughed as they spotted the table filled with bags from shopping mixed in with the mail and their assorted junk. "Wine?"

He nodded and watched as Darlene stepped over a few bags and headed to the basement where they kept the cellar and a few bottles. He, in turn, reached to the cabinet and pulled out a few glasses before setting them out on the table. A few minutes later, he managed to get some cheese slices and little crackers to go along with it and then, while waiting, moved some things out of the way to let them have a place to sit.

4.) IF YOU WERE A GIRL...WHAT WOULD BE YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?

Empirically, Thomas knew that gender had nothing to do with favorite color. A person could be male, female, nonbinary, genderfluid, whatever and they could like the same color anyway. He supposed that there was some basis for orientation towards one color over another, that was almost always a given since boys from birth are associated with blues and girls with pinks. He wondered if his parents were like that but then again, his mom was a bulldog when it came to such trivialities so he wouldn't be surprised that she would do the same if he had been born a girl.

Thomas liked blue and green, especially with his pale skin and dark blonde hair. He supposed that it would be the same. I would like the same basic colors that I already do, blue and green, but maybe in a more feminine way. He clicked the pen shut and then turned to hit the shower. It took him a few more moments with his hair being a jumbled mess but after coaxing it with some hot water and making sure to shampoo and condition, he wiped himself down with the sky blue towels he had hung up in the bathroom and slipped into his robe before walking out and wiping his hair down. Darlene was already in "game" mode, as he called it, where she would be a siren unleashed from hell if he disturbed her and so, with a book instead of papers, he settled down on the coach and decided to give himself some time off to relax and unwind. Papers or not, a break heeded was a break needed.

Thomas slipped out of bed and walked to the bathroom, taking a few moments to stretch and scratch his head, pausing for a moment to look at his reflection in the mirror, especially at the jumbled mess of hair that was rolling down past his neck now. He wondered why his mind still found it a bit strange, though what was more strange was his belief that he may have been bald for a moment or two. All evidence to the contrary, why would he be bald was beyond him. Still, as he slipped out of the robe and stood by the shower, he couldn't help but wonder what exactly was the problem.

"Perhaps just needed some time to relax," he mused softly and laughed, hanging up the seafoam robe on the hook before he stepped under the water. It took him a few moments more to get fully awake but as he worked in the shampoo, he just sighed and smiled. An early morning coffee to get him up and awake before he would head on in to some crafting before spending the rest of the afternoon on grading papers. He didn't like the idea of wasting Sunday afternoons grading but it was part of the job and he only half-jokingly wondered if he had this to look forward to. As he stepped out, he spotted Darlene stumbling towards him and just barely managed to get out of the way before she slipped into the bathroom and started to make a mess of things in there.

"So sexy..." he mused before turning back and heading towards the dresser. The papers wouldn't grade themselves, as tempting as it was to give everyone a C and call it good, he actually had to do some work for a change.
