Chapter 12 by RookBartly RookBartly

What Happens Next

The Afternoon

Kelly walked into the door letting it slam behind her. She was alone as she walked in. Regina had 'disappeared' when Kelly pulled into the drive way. She kicked her shoes off and tossed her purse on the table beside the door as she walked over to the couch and plopped down on it. Kelly yawned again as she laid her head back and closed her eyes. Before she knew it she was asleep.

Kelly woke up. When she did, she shot upright and looked around. She was still on her couch. She must have fallen asleep she realized. The clock hanging on the wall showed it was 12:37. She glanced out the window and still saw light and reasoned it must be afternoon. "Guess I was more tired then I thought. At least I didn't sleep the whole day away." Kelly stood up and stretched. While she stretched and yawned again, her stomach growled loudly. "Crap, I'm hungry..." She made her way over the to kitchen and opened the fridge. "Fuck... I was supposed to go grocery shopping today after work..." she mumbled to herself starring at the mostly empty fridge. "Guess I should go shopping..." Kelly walked over to the door and started to slip on her shoes. "Actually I think I'll hit the coffee shop and grab a sandwich first." she said to herself as the thought 'Never go food shopping on an empty stomach.' Kelly grabbed her purse walked out. The coffee shop was just down the road started walking down the street. It only took a few minutes to arrive at the small coffee shop. As she opened the door she spotted Mia Fernanda standing at the counter ordering something. "Mia!" Kelly called out as she walked in.

Mia turned and smiled when she heard Kelly's voice. "Hey Kelly! What cha' doing here? I thought you had to work today." Kelly stopped in her tracks when Mia turned and smiled. She never noticed how stunning Mia was. She always knew Mia was beautiful but she never notice by how much. Her eyes were a beautiful brown that reminded Kelly of Devil's cake. Both tempting and taunting as they were curtained by long black lashes resulting in a pair of rich symbols of seduction. Her long black hair the color of pure midnight laid straight till it reached her shoulders where it started to curl. The curls continued down to her mid back. Her skin was the most perfect color of mocha. Her lips were soft color of pink. She wore a tight form fitting t-shirt which accentuated her perfectly formed breasts. Her hips and legs were encased in denim jeans which were nearly skin tight. A pair of white tennis shoes capped her feet.

It took Kelly a second to recover before she responded. "Oh yeah... I was supposed to. I... ahhhh... ummmm.... took the day off to deal... with something that came up." Kelly stumbled her way though her response. "So, yeah... I just stopped by here to grab lunch. What are you up to Mia?"

"Excuse me miss, you order is ready." The employee behind the counter said to Mia.

Mia turned to the employee and grabber her coffee and the tray a sandwich was sitting on. "I'm doing the same. Just grabbing some lunch." She started toward a table. "Wanta have lunch together?"

Kelly walked over to the counter as she replied to Mia. "Sure!" She turned to the employee behind the counter to order her food. The employee was a cute blond girl that Kelly figured was somewhere around 19 or 20 years old with here hair pulled back into a pony tail which came out of the back of her black hat she wore as a part of her work uniform. This was not what Kelly was thinking about though. Her thoughts dwelt on Mia. Kelly wasn't sure why but she was really excited to be having lunch with Mia. Yeah sure, they were really good friends and they hang out often but she never felt this excited to see Mia. Kelly's order of a tall latte and turkey club sandwich was ready quickly and Kelly was able to make her way over to Mia.

Kelly sat down next to Mia at the bar style table in the middle of the coffee shop taking the empty stood directly next to the beautiful Latina woman. "Hey, so...." Kelly struggled to figure out what to say. "I love that shirt!" Kelly was starring directly at Mia's chest thinking about her perfect her tits were.

"I love this shirt. I think I picked it up at Hot Topic about a year ago." She looked down and tugged at the bottom hem of the shirt. Mia took a bite of her sandwich which was already half gone. "Tomorrow it finally comes out and I was thinking to go catch it."

Kelly gave Mia a questioning look as she had no idea what Mia was referring to. "What comes out tomorrow?" She asked

Mia giggled. "Don't play dumb. You know. That movie that I've been talking about for the last three months." Mia jokingly punched Kelly in the arm. "Come on Kells, lets go watch it together. I hate going to movies alone and I KNOW you are going to love it!" Mia gave Kelly her best puppy eyes. "If you go with me... I buy pizza."

Kelly felt like she melting when Mia looked at her with those large puppy eyes. "Yeah sure!" Kelly blurted out with excitement. "ummm... I mean yeah sure. I guess I can." She tried to sound nonchalant.

Mia grabbed Kelly in a hug. "Your awesome Kells!" Kelly was pressed against Mia in her embrace. Kelly could feel the soft mounds of flesh of Mia's chest. "I'll pick up our tickets. You don't have to worry about anything! I'll pick you up at 9!" Mia stood up. "I have to go, I have an appointment at Redfield's to get my hair done. I'll see you tomorrow!" Mai shoved the last of her sandwich into her mouth and headed out.

Kelly's face was flushed as Mia let go and head out. She watched as her friend left. As the door shut behind Mia, Kelly noticed two women sitting by the door giggling. one of the two girls very audibly said "I bet she is like that. What a freak." Kelly had been the target of much humiliation in her life of bullies and these two girls had the same 'air' about them as most she had seen. Turning back to her sandwich and latte, Kelly tired to listen to what they were saying. "I bet beaner, loves to eat fish tacos! She is so disgusting..."

It didn't take much imagination for anyone to realize these two girls were referring to Mia who just walk past them. Kelly felt rage. She couldn't understand why people could act that way. Kelly didn't understand racism to begin with but these two women were also very much against gay people from what she could tell. They were both complete bigots. Kelly thought for a moment. People like them should be to be taught a lesson. She rubbed her the ring on her finger as a sly smile crossed her race. "Maybe I'll be the one to teach it to them..." she mumbled to herself.

What is Kelly's plan...
