Ka-ren the Barbarian - Episode 1 (Part 2)

What we see next is the epic first reveal of Ka-ren and Ton-tah. They are on the top of a small hill, with the sun behind their backs. Ka-ren is wearing a brown leather loincloth and sandals of the same material, and holding an iron mace. Her long blond hair is blown by the wind, making her look both imposing and gorgeous. Next to her, Ton-tah is completely naked and barefoot (fact that illustrates her status of ****). She has shorter hair, and carries a linen bag and a wooden staff. Being 25 cm shorter than Ka-ren (plus a bit more due to the sandals), she looks a lot less intimidating than her.

CANNIBAL 1 (rubbing her stomach): -Oh, of course… We always have room for more. Don’t we, sister?

CANNIBAL 2 (licking her lips): -Indeed…

The twins grab a couple of long knives and attack the two newcomers. What follows is a combat scene, in which Ka-ren fights one of the savages while Ton-tah takes on the other one. The prisoner watches, unable to do anything, other than cry and hope for the best.

In a few quick moves, Ka-ren smashes her opponent with her mace. She then turns to Ton-tah, who is having a much harder time with the other cannibal. She has managed to disarm her enemy, and they are both holding Ton-tah’s staff, fighting to take control of it. Instead of helping her companion, Ka-ren stands there and watches.

KA-REN: -Oh gods... Ton-tah, could you be any more useless? If you can’t take a starving savage on your own, I don’t know what good you are… I’m not even going to help you, this time… You need to learn to take care of yourself. If I have to be saving you all the time, I might as well sell you… Not that anybody would pay much for you…

While Ka-ren is chastising Ton-tah, she is fighting to the **** with the cannibal. After a couple of minutes exchanging punches, Ton-tah imposes herself, smashing the savage’s head several times, until she stops moving.

KA-REN: -Finally… Seriously, what would you do if you ever had to be in a real battle without me?

Ton-tah doesn’t say anything. She does her best to recover from the beating and walks towards her companion and mistress.

CAPTIVE (crying, relieved): -Oh, gods, thank you… May the gods reward you and give you long lives…

KA-REN: -Don’t sweat it, bitch. We are not here for you. Ton-tah, search those bags and see if there’s anything useful.
