Not Falling Here!

Knowing it's foolish to attack blindly, you stand where you are and listen to where the blast comes from. Hearing a vibrant noise from your right, you jump forward out of the way of it. Feeling less pain at your eyes, you tried opening them again. While the pain still lingers, you are able to pinpoint the Grumpig trying to regenerate power again, completely shocked that you choose to wait and dodged instead of attacking blindly. "Oh no you don't!' You cried out as you unleash your Thunderbolt attack at him.

The Grumpig was unprepared as a strong electric current coursed through his body, forcing him on his knees. It tries to stand, but the paralysis from your last attack has its effect on him. Taking advantage of his inaction, you open your mouth and orange energy gathered in your mouth. After accumulating enough, you launched your Hyper Beam to the Grumpig, connecting to the center of his chest. The pig was blasted back a good distance before collapsing on the ground, unconscious.

You take a quick breath before hearing your friend cry out, “Rai, watch out!” checking the direction of the voice, you spot the Sunflora, who just launched some leaves at your way. You moved out of it's way with agility. Before the infected Sunflora could try again, it was sent to the ground by your friend’s bounce attack. Being already weak from your previous attacks, the plant type couldn't take it and fainted. You make a small arm pump as you say confidently, "There's nothing a Voltaire can't do!"

The Zoroark meanwhile was standing against the charging Ponyta, keeping his feet light on the ground. When it was close, he vanished from the view and appeared behind her to grab the hindlegs and used her momentum to hurl her into the air and slam her on the ground hard. When the dust settled, the fire horse was on the ground, knocked out cold.

You check on the others to see that they both went through their fights well. You proceed towards them. "Are you two ok?" The two nod towards you. "You two risked your lives to save me." The Zoroark says with confusion in his voice. “Why did you though?” You were about to speak when a familiar scream interrupted you three.

You turn towards the direction to see your sister being attacked by a Poochyena. "Kate!" You cry out before dashing with agility, Rachael follows as well. The wolf pup tackles the squirrel off her hind paws and would've continued his assault if you hadn't knocked him away with quick attack. The pup recovered from your light attack, but when it turned towards you, it also saw a Buneary by your side in her fighting stance. Seeing that it's a lost cause, the infected turned tail and ran off.

Seeing the situation has passed, you turn to check on your sister. "Are you okay?" You asked her. The Pachirisu got up and dust herself off, then ran into your arms. "I was scared." she says. You wrap your arms around to comfort her. "I know, but don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you!" Kate looks up to you. "I promise." You said to assure her. "Me too!" Your friend promises too. She smiles from it.
