Facing the Swine

You take a deep breath as you stare at the Grumpig. While sporting purple eyes, the psychic type had a large grin on his face as he danced a little, his portly form swaying side to side in some kind of cheery jig. ‘Is it taking this seriously, or does he think I’ll just be a way to have fun?’ You thought to yourself as you charged yourself with sparks crackling off your cheeks.

You see the Grumpig head glowing a blue hue as he leapt at you with Zen Headbutt. You quickly dodged out of the way and focused electricity into your left paw and Thunder Punched him in his face. Despite the impact, he shakes it off and grinned at you. You got electricity and punched him once more. A small bruise formed on his cheek as he connected with your jaw with Brick Break.

You grunted and fell on your back from the impact. The Grumpig then pounced and tried to pin you down. You gritted your teeth as you give him a headbutt to his face. Making him reel back and allowing you to crawl away and get back on your feet. You then hardened your tail as you swung around and connected your Iron Tail to his belly, knocking him down.

You then proceeded to use thunderbolt as it was down, but the Grumpig rolled to the side, avoiding the impact. Then its jewel glowed and orbs of psychic energy launched and struck you, somehow feeling physical despite the appearance as the Grumpig got back up. You were panting a little as you see the Grumpig smiling still, not even breathing hard. ‘We both been trading blows. I feel sore and winded, while he doesn’t even look like he’s struggling a little. Is he hiding it?’ You then noticed he’s gathering light in his paws.

Seeing this, you turn towards him to stop it, but the obese pig grins and makes it disappear. You briefly wondered where'd it go before it appeared inches in front of your face and exploded, blinding you and forcing you into a stop. You rub your eyes from the pain, but you hear the pig in front of you generating power again. You tried to open your eyes, but that flash makes it hard to keep them open.
