Meeting Neku

The sun has fully set by the time the incident has passed. The four of you went to a distant building still standing and took shelter there. You take a look around to ensure there's no one inside. After searching, you found some candles and a match. Using a match, you light them to provide light in the darkness, but be careful to try not to make your presence known by covering the windows with objects. Afterwards, the four of you sat down around the lights.

Taking a sigh of relief, you say, "Now we should be able to talk now without any problems." The zoroark nods and looks at you and Rachael, "Why you do that?" You both look at him in confusion. "I mean why you tried to save my life?" You blink a couple times before answering, "It was the right thing to do. You would've died with them if we didn't."

The Zoroarks red eyes widen at your words. "What?" you ask. He shook his head before continuing. "I was just shocked to hear you did that with good intentions. I seen those who would do the opposite of what you did." He then thought about what you said. "When did you found us?" You fold your ears back guiltily before answering, “Just mere moments before they..." you couldn't finish because of the revolting sight that was burned into your eyes.

The zoroark bows his head down in sorrow of what happened. "Well, thanks for the help.. If you haven’t gotten here sooner.” The fox shakes his head and changes the subject. “Heh, we haven't been able to introduce ourselves." He chuckles for a bit. "My name is Neku." The Zoroark introduced himself. "I'm Rachael." Your friend says after him. Neku looks at you next. "Rai." Neku started chuckling a bit. "Sorry, it's funny considering..."

You shrugged, not bothered by it. "Yeah, my mom likes the way 'Rai' sounds in Raichu, so they gave me that. and this.." You move your arm around your sisters shoulder, "is my little sister Katherine, though a lot of people call her Kate for short."

Seeing their physique, Neku asks, "How old are you three, if you don't mind me asking?" You and Rachael look at each other before you reply, "Me and rachael are both 18. Kate.. she's 6 but will be turning 7 in little over a week. How old are you?" "I'm 42." Naku paused after hearing that. "Two Pokemon barely adults and a small child having to go through this. Must've been tough."
