Adventure! Excitement! Rain!

As you slide through the equally sliding doors of the supermarket and step out onto the broken surface of a sidewalk, you hear a weak pinging noise behind you. Turning around, you find that the supermarket has vanished, and that a derelict brick now stands in its place.

As befits the dystopian theme, there’s not a single tree or any other form of vegetation in sight. In fact, the only examples of organic but non-sentient matter that is about is the heaps of garbage that are placed out here and there, in some cases having been stacked up neatly against a wall and in other cases having sloppily dumped all across the sidewalk.

It’s raining outside, which would have come as a surprise if not for the fact that it didn’t, though thankfully it’s more of a drizzle than a virtual downpour, but you tighten your trench coat and make sure that the Fedora is keeping the rain from getting in your face.

Still, you probably have a lot better things to do than to stand still out in the rain and getting yourself wet. As it happens, there’s a bar located not far from where you’re standing, though a quick glance up the street reveals several more.
The bar’s exterior gives the impression of it not being a very up-scale type of establishment, but then neither are any of the others, so you head towards to it.

There’s a pair of young thugs lined up against the bar’s front, just below and to the right of the fizzling neon sign that says “Shamrock Bar” next to a giant shamrock that lights up irregularly, and you make sure to straighten your back and demonstrate both your full stature and that you’re not afraid of the two hooded thugs.
They both pretty much ignore you though, with just one of them actually bothering to throw a glance in your direction as you come up to the entrance.

It is thus as an unmolested man that you enter the bar, and instantly find it to be a smoke-filled joint which reeks of cigarettes, beer and sweat. Judging from the smell of this place, you guess that deodorant has yet to be introduced into this virtual world.
Undeterred by the stench, you confidently make your way towards the bartender, a middle-aged man who’s fat rather than burly and has a bandana tied over his head in an attempt to conceal his baldness.

Even though there’s still daylight outside, the bar is on the verge of being crowded, though everyone is seated while a waitress slides from table to table, serving up beers and taking orders for more beers.
The waitress is a blonde, and she’s a pretty young thing too, deliciously curvaceous with ripe red lips and beaming eyes, and she’s just the same age as the teenage girls that you were ogling back in the real world.
Her looks, along with the fact that she’s dressed in fishnet stockings, a leather mini mini-skirt and a ripped white halter-top means that the waitress is hardly ignored by the patrons, and you smile faintly as you note that it isn’t just the males that are pawing after her as she passes them by.

You were going to buy a beer from the bartender, but after watching the waitress you look around for a table and, having spotted one that’s small and unoccupied, and placed so that you can sit with your back to the wall, you head towards it.
On your way to your table, you notice that a very attractive woman is tracing your movement with her cool gaze, a cigarette being placed between the pinkie and the ring finger of her left hand, while a glass of liquor stands in front of her on the table.

Just as you’ve noticed the woman looking at you, the blue prompt pops up in front of you yet again, listing four options and urging you to choose one of them:
“You’ve got mail, option A”
“You’ve got mail, option B”
“An encounter with the woman looking at you”
And finally, “Just sit down and flirt a little with the waitress”
