Skyler continued to dodge Zissu's every attack. His eyes carefully watching her movements as she continued her ****. However, things were starting to take a turn. If his mind wasn't playing tricks on him, she appeared to be getting faster. At least, that is what he thought until he noticed something sticky upon the cavern floor. When he glanced down, he noticed a strange coating on the flooring near his feet. That is when he realized the truth. She had been spreading her webbing upon the floor while he was too busy watching her attacks.

Skyler growled softly while thinking. 'Damn it! How did I not notice this sooner? There is no way I can make a dash for it now. Hmm, if only I could distract her for a moment.' As he continued to dodge her strikes, he saw a skull to his right that had only a few teeth left. The thing that made this skull stand out amongst the rest was that all of the teeth remaining were golden. He felt slightly drawn to it, probably because it was shiny amongst a very dull background. This would be his one chance to distract her. If this failed, that would be the end of him. Although this wasn't the most dignified option, it was better than dying.

Skyler instinctively let out a hiss as the hairs upon his hands and tail stood up. Although it was embarrassing to accidently let such a reaction slip, it worked out for the better. For you see, much to his surprise, Zissu flinched. This bought him just enough time to dash for the skull and throw it at her face. Although it didn't connect, it **** her to move back to avoid it, allowing for some much needed distance between them. This gave him the opportunity that he desperately needed. As she made her way back towards him, the sound of rocks and bones being crushed echoed throughout the cavern. He could feel a chill running down his spine as he ran toward the wall, using it as a springboard to leap up towards her torso.

Zissu turned slightly, allowing Skyler to fly by her torso. Although not intentional, he sunk the claws of both hands into her side to slow himself down, causing her to let out a wretched scream. 30 + 28 (27.6) = 58, 58 x 2 = 116 damage "AHHH!" His ears leaned back from the loud sound as he landed onto her cephalothorax just behind her human torso. She did her best to turn around and to shake him off, but to no avail. "How dare you mount me! Get off me this instant!" He let out a nervous laugh as her words started to make him laugh internally. "Says the woman trying to eat me. I rather not die by nomming, thanks."

Zissu paused, starting to laugh while her hands moved to her sides. "Wha? I'm not trying to nom on you like a cat you pervert!" She continued to try and shake him off. However, this caused Skyler's claws to dig deeper into her flesh. She let out a growl in pain. 30 + 28 (27.6) = 58, 58 - 50% = 29, 29 x 2 = 58 damage She started to stamp her feet before letting out a huff. However, it was at that moment she started to giggle maniacally. "Fine, if you won't get off. I will **** you off." Time remaining, 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Zissu took in a deep breath and at the same time, Skyler noticed her mana dropped from 358 to 208. When she exhaled, the cavern started to fill with a noxious green fog. This clouded his vision and began to fill his nostrils. She began laughing once again. "That's it! Breathe in deeply. It'll all be over soon, I promise." He held his breath for as long as he could, but his need for air won out as he gasped and took in a deep breath after a minute, but took his surprise a notification popped up to explain why he wasn't taking damage. Time remaining, 20 seconds.

Skyler blinked twice while reading that. He almost lost his grip twice, causing Zissu to giggle, a maniacal smile began to creep upon her lips. "Mm, just a little longer little kitty. That's it. Soon you'll be all mine." He felt a shiver run down his spine, but held firm. He held on to the hope that in less than 15 seconds this would all be over. She should go back to her normal self and stop trying to eat him. At least, that was his hope. He felt a little ashamed of being afraid of her. However, to be fair, she was a much higher level than him. This was reality, not a video game where he could just come back and try again. Time remaining, 1 second.

A few seconds after the timer ran out, Zissu's expression changed as her bloodlust faded and her senses returned. At the same time, the optional section of Skyler's quest marked itself as complete. She shook her head once then twice before blinking. "Huh? Oh no, Skyler!?" She looked around before looking down to her torn up sides. Although she wasn't happy about the damage she had taken, she smiled upon seeing he was still alive upon her cephalothorax. "Oh thank Gaia. I was worried I had eaten you." She couldn't reach him, but the tension in the air had vanished. She lifted a hand, causing the noxious fog to dissipate rapidly, allowing them both to breathe more easily. After the noxious fog was cleared, two new notifications appeared.

As Skyler read all of that, Zissu looked down slightly, allowing for an odd somberness to fill the air. "I, I want to change back to being human. If you don't mind, could you get off of my cephalothorax? I don't want to drop you onto the ground." He nodded while retracting his claws. "Oh, sure. Um..." He looked around before sliding off to the side and onto the ground. Her body began to morph, changing from her current form back into her human form, reducing her maximum health from 468 to 234. Her current health remaining changed from 294 to 147. After a brief search, she walked over to her borrowed clothing, collecting them before slipping them back on. "I, I'm sorry about that. I, I just can't help myself when I hear those words. Please avoid saying them in the future."

Skyler's eyes glanced in Zissu's direction, catching a glimpse of her slender figure. Although slightly blurry without his glasses and worsened by the dim light, he could still see she had a beautiful ass as she slipped on those baggy blue jeans. He felt like his cheeks were turning red, causing him to look away while thinking about her beautiful ass. "Sure, I'll keep that in mind. I wouldn't want to incur your wrath ever again anyway." She started to giggle while turning to him. "That's fair. I don't want you to incur my wrath either." She walked over to him and hugged him gently from behind. "I'm sorry for getting these clothes of yours dirty. I didn't mean to go on a rampage in them." He blinked and felt like his cheeks were growing hotter by the minute, the feeling of her soft breasts pressing against his upper back was rather nice.

However, Skyler then realized that Zissu was admitting to taking his clothing. "Oh, um, don't worry about it. I'm sorry I ended up hurting you." She shook her head. "I am glad that you did. If you hadn't, well. I would have been devastated." Her finger tips ran up to his chest while she laid her head against his upper back, nuzzling her cheek gently against him. This caused him to purr involuntarily, beginning a 2% restoration of their health and mana per second. She smiled, listening to the purring emanating throughout his upper body. "Mm, this is nice. You're such a nice Nekojin. Can I keep you?"

Skyler cheeks started to actually redden as he thought about that. However, that thought turned to her wanting to eat him yet again. Although he continued to purr, he looked back to her with a slightly worried expression upon his face. "Um, what do you mean by keep me, Zissu?" Although he couldn't see this, Zissu bit her bottom lip, nuzzling her cheek more against his upper back. "I mean like take you home and take care of you. I've always wanted a pet Nekojin."

Skyler felt like a sweat drop should be forming at his temple as disappointment swept through the very core of his being. This was just another healthy reminder that he wasn't someone women were interested in. He really wished his heart and mind would quit giving him false hope. He knew they weren't interested in him, but it still hurt every time he heard it. As this thought entered his mind, he could feel a bit of sadness swelling inside him. However, part of this was relieved when he sighed. Luckily the purring continued, restoring more of their health and mana.

Skyler chuckled as he turned slightly, allowing him to see the top of Zissu's head out of his peripheral vision. "Although tempting, I'm not a pet. But thank you for the compliment." By the time he finished speaking, his health and her health and mana had been fully restored. His current mana had increased from 29 to 159. She began to pout, but nodded slightly as she backed away from him. "Boo, I would have taken very good care of you. Oh well, I guess that answers that." She moseyed until she was in front of him. "Just be careful while you are out in the real world. Someone might try to collar you and sell you on the Abyss Auction."

Skyler lifted a brow at the same moment he stopped purring, halting the restorative rate of mana just 5 points shy of its cap. "The Abyss Auction? I didn't know that was actually a thing." Zissu smiled playfully. "I thought everyone knew about that. Hmm, wait. Are you one of Gaia's chosen? I didn't know that." She looked him up and down before lifting up a hand to his right shoulder. "If I had known that I would have taken you home with me when we first met." She playfully stuck out her tongue. "Seriously though, let's get out of here. My lair isn't a fun place to chat in." He nodded, lifting up his hand and cast Exit Illusion Barrier, causing the world to shatter into a million pieces around them both.

Shortly after, the world reformed around them, piecing itself back together as Skyler's bedroom. He saw Cleo was asleep on her stack of pillows upon his bed, confirming that he was truly back in his bedroom. He let out a sigh before using a mental command to cancel his transformation, changing his body and stats back to normal. Zissu stepped back as she watched him change. "Hmm, I originally thought that you were using a disguise to mask your real form, but is this what you normally look like? I could have sworn you were an actually Nekojin." He glared at her for a moment before shaking his head. "Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I am not normally a Nekojin."

Skyler slipped on his shorts from the other day, since they were still clean, before heading over to his desk to put on his glasses. As soon as his glasses were on, he headed over to his dresser, reaching in haphazardly and pulled out a blue muscle shirt before slipping it on. It was at this moment that Zissu's eyes widened. "No way, are you a shapeshifter!? I've only seen a few of those in my life time. They are quite rare." He could feel her eyes running along his form before he heard her scratching her chin. When he turned around, he saw her eyes staring at his crotch. Her cheeks were bright red. "I'm quite curious... Can you change the size of your um.." There was a short pause before she continued. "P...penis?"

Skyler blinked before shrugging. "Your guess is as good as mine. Other than by getting an erection, I don't think so." He shook his head before walking over to his recliner to sit down. "By the way, if you are going to say it. Say it right. Calling it a penis makes it sound like a medical prop. So, repeat after me, dick. " Zissu blushed deeply as she lowered her eyes, but didn't turn to face him as he moved away. "D-d, di...." He tilted his head a bit. "What was that?" Her body trembled as she finally managed to say. "Dick!"

Skyler found her reaction to be adorable, but simply said. "There, was that so hard?" Zissu continued to blush while looking off to the side. "It was embarrassing." She took a deep breath to relax herself before smiling. "Um, you still haven't heard my request." She turned to look at him while leaning forward onto the balls of her feet. "So, are you ready to hear it?" He wasn't sure if he actually was or not. Should he stall and ask for more information about the Abyss Auction? Or should he simply listen?
