Agree to help

"What do I have to do?" asked Leanne. Instantly lamenting her decision.

Abbie's face spread into a wide grin. "You'll do it? You'll really help me stop this?" Leanne nodded slowly. "Oh thank you so much, Leanne. You have no idea what this'll mean." Leanne worried more what it meant for her right now and she was going to have to do in order to end it. "Meet me down in my office. I need to arrange something else first. I'll see you there after."

"Okay," agreed Leanne.

"There's a room down there with clothes you can use." continued the young blonde. "Just take whatever you want."

Leanne thanked Abbie before turning back with one more question. "Where's your office, Abbie?"

"It's in the basement." she replied. "You can use the lift."

As Leanne watched Abbie hurry away she regretted her decision even more. One word she didn't want to hear was 'basement'. She pulled her towel tight around her body and walked towards the nearby lift. Her breathing was slow and deep as she waited impatiently. Becoming more deliberate as she rode the elevator down to the basement level.

The doors slowly opened before Leanne stepped out and peered into the latest corridor. It certainly didn't look like any of the floors she'd been on so far. The other levels were all carbon copies of each other. Same layout, same cheap carpet and walls, same dingy lights and weird smell. But this was very different. It was brighter for a start but the light was a strange crimson glow rather than a white light. The walls were different too. They were made out of heavy looking, grey stone blocks.

"So when she said basement she actually meant basement-slash-dungeon," Leanne observed aloud, which did nothing to make her feel any easier.

She glanced left and right out of the lift doors. The corridor disappeared in either direction with a few doors on either side. This really wasn't where she wanted to be and after what had happened so far she could only imagine what was down here. She had to find Abbie's office and before that something to wear. The problems was she had no idea where either of those things were.
