Go in the opposite direction

Leanne felt uneasy about approaching the clown so calmly turned back and headed in the opposite direction. After a few steps she glanced over her shoulder only to see the clown now moving slowly towards her.

In a fright she quickened her steps but the clown matched her step for step. The faster she walked the more he did too. Soon she was almost running through the corridor with the clown right behind. She wasn't sure what she was so scared of but the clown's behaviour wasn't helping her fears. With her heart racing she tried to slow down again. Nervously peering over her shoulder she noticed that her pursuer had done likewise.

"This isn't good," she whispered to herself. "I've got to do something." Her options were limited but she couldn't run around the corridors chased by a clown all day.
