Chapter 25 by CamBlay

Does he?

Kurt finds himself acting out of character

For reasons Kurt couldn't fathom at that moment he found himself going against all his usual instincts. The furiously masturbating Brandon filled him with white hot rage; he wanted to shield the innocent Vicky from the pathetic sight.

"How fucking dare you!" he snapped. "Put it away you creep." Brandon stared back blankly, hand still stroking himself while silent tears ran down his cheeks. Vicky was still staring at him, but she looked less transfixed and more alarmed at the situation after Kurt's outburst.

Seeing no change in Brandon's behaviour Kurt strode furiously towards him. "Put it away before I slug you."

"Kurt don't!" Vicky begged, but he wasn't listening. Brandon watched him approach with eyes like a cornered dog, but still made no move to stop. Kurt's fist impacted on his left cheekbone, sending him spinning to the floor. He landed hard on his side, the head of his cock smacking into the dirt. Vicky covered her mouth, sure she was about to witness the two boys killing each other, but to her amazement Brandon simply lay on the ground, continuing to cry with his arms and dick splayed out in front of him.

"Go on," Kurt shouted at his prone form. "Fuck off back to the cabin." He lifted a leg, intending to kick Brandon while he was down, but the sudden chime of his phone interrupted him as he withdrew it from his pocket with a furrowed brow.

"It's Jennifer," he said aloud, before answering. "Hello?"

Vicky couldn't hear what was said, only watch as Kurt's expression went from relief, to concern, to relief again.

"You need one of Robert's boats? Can't you use one of the ranger's ones? Alright, I do. Yeah we'll be there as soon as possible. Thanks for letting us know, bye." He put the phone down, raising his eyebrows briefly in surprise at the developments before turning to relay the new information.

"Has she found Chloe?" Vicky asked hopefully.

Kurt nodded. "Yeah, she's taking her back to the cabin." Vicky clapped her hands in relief.

"But," Kurt continued. "We need to head back as well. She says Heather, Zack and Gavin are stuck on one of the islands on the lake."

"What?" gasped Vicky. "Stuck?"

"Their boat must have gotten pulled away in the storm or something. Heather's awful at knots. She wants to use one of Robert's boats to rescue them."

"Don't the rangers have their own boats?"

Kurt pulled a face. "They do but she said she couldn't use them, she'd have to bring another ranger along with her."

"Why is that a problem?"

Kurt shrugged. "No idea. She just mumbled something about it being embarassing before asking me to trust her."

"Weird," Vicky said, brow furrowed. The two pondered in silence for a moment before Kurt turned to Brandon.

"Did you hear all that?" Kurt asked the lump on the floor, which nodded.

"I'm taking you both back to the cabin then," he continued. "Brandon, you'd better sort it out man."

Brandon rose morosely to his feet, his left side caked with dirt as he mechanically tucked himself away. Kurt watched him with disgust and Vicky with sympathy, before the trio turned to head back the way they'd come.

"Are you okay?" Kurt whispered to Vicky, judging Brandon a safe enough distance behind to not overhear.

"Yes, thank you," she replied. "It's okay, I've seen one before."

"Sure," Kurt said. "I guessed, but still... **** exposure and all that."

Vicky giggled. "No, seriously, I'm fine. Thank you for looking out for me though." She leaned over and planted the second kiss of the day on Kurt's cheek, a kiss that to Kurt's surprise made his stomach do a backflip.

What happens next?
