[Meta] The Reading Guide

From the authors of Ringmaster: Hi, this is a reading guide for our story. At the time we're creating it, it might seem just a tad bit excessive, but we want to ensure that our readers will have the most enjoyable experience possible when they read Ringmaster. This guide shall serve the purpose of allowing readers to know what paths might be of their interest, which ones are being worked on at the moment, where do paths diverge, who are the authors working for each path, along with clearing up any possible confusions.

The following text serves to give a bit more context to the options for a protagonist with only minimal spoilers, but there are both an FAQ for the story (which explains topics such as: What Regina's current name is in any given branch, how the continuity works, where to send feedback, etc.) and a collection of Sub-guides (One For Each Ringmaster) that go further into detail if you decide to check them out. With all that said, here are all the Protagonists, how many times do their branches splinter, and hints at how their paths proceed.

Maria: This branch can be summed up into "gay panic, the mind control story". Maria starts as an upbeat, pleasant young woman who will quickly realize that her new found urges for girls are way stronger than anything she ever felt for boys. Depending on your choices, she might remain a nice person with a positive outlook, or maybe just one of those things, but this quite likely the best path for someone that wants to live out the fantasy of dating girls, or the angst over being attracted to them.

Sam: Of course, not everyone will want to play a baby lesbian that's constantly losing her mind about how hot girls are. If you'd rather be in the shoes of a tall and muscular Amazon who fancies herself with the moniker of "Alpha Female" in a half joking - half earnest manner, then Sam is gonna **** you out and **** you to read her branch while venerating her as a queen. She has the longest thread among the protagonists, but there's not much of a choice with her. For the most part, it's her adventure, and you'll just be along for the ride.

Peter: Linearity does seem counter intuitive in this site, doesn't it? Then don't worry, because there are Peters-a'-plenty for you to have your pick of. The one consistent thing about them is that Peter always starts being surprised by Regina after his girlfriend Veronica tells him that they're a couple no mo' and he needs to go-go away from her life. Will Peter use his new ring to block the break up? Will he get some payback before he leaves? Will he find someone else to romance? Will he grow a second dick? All is possible for the omni-Peter one.

Veronica: Pretty funny that Peter doesn't seem to want to talk too much about why did the relationship go sour, isn't it? In this alternate timeline, you get to see things from HER perspective, as Veronica makes the case for how the person who seems like a stick on the mud might not only have a point, but be someone pretty interesting themselves. The career-driven business woman will show you what someone with the drive to climb up the ranks of a company does with something like the ring, whether she tries to eliminate the competition or break into a new market. But will she end up opening her legs for a partner that she desires?

Kelly: No one is going to call the business woman aesthetic unattractive, but a lot of people would say that the personality of a cut-throat is a turn off. If you want someone who by chance or choice will take a lot less time to warm up to the idea of sexuality, Kelly is your gal, pal.

Alexi: All the other options so far have been fine and dandy, but what about if something interesting happens in regards to who holds the ring? We've seen straight guys get more into girls, straight girls discover that they curved more than they used to, but what would happen if someone that didn't feel sexual attraction before putting on the ring is suddenly matched with the horny incarnate that is Regina?

Tabitha: Kawaii! Sugoi desu ne! Arigato! Now that I have your attention, would you be interested in reading what happens when an overweight gamer otaku trash gets the ring? Please, don't leave, we promise that Tabitha is not a neckbeard, she's a girl and that makes her complete social illiteracy cute instead of grating! Seriously, you can't tell me that there's not a lot of you that find that archetype irresistible, I know you're over there reading this. She's quirky, she's a mess of nerves, and she will do anything to justify her sleaze as not being as bad as everyone else makes it sound!
