With the star successfully saved Ted finds a settings icon. He activates the Mental game controls with that Ted watches his UI move to the sides of his vision. He was working with it so he could get used to it seeing as though this isn't going to be going away anytime soon. In a few minute's time, he has memorized all the UI has to offer.
