Try to trick the goblins

"Hey, guys," you say, giving them a confident grin. "I'm glad I found you."

"You are?" the ape-shaped goblin asks, looking confused.

"Yeah. Kivano said to tell you that there's cake in the break room."

"Cake!" the round goblin shouts, his chubby arms and legs flailing as he tries to rock his sizable girth into motion. "Cake, cake, cake!"

"Wait!" the tall one says, his voice thin and reedy. "We can't take a break 'til we're done. Them's the rules."

"But...but...cake," the round one pleads, beads of saliva rolling down his chin.

"If you wait, it might all be gone," you say, and the goblins wail mournfully. "Tell you guys what, you go get some cake, and I'll stay here until you get back. Sound good?"

"You would do that?" the gorilla-ish goblin asks.

"Sure," you say. "Maybe you could bring me back a piece, if there's enough."

"Good deal, human," the tall one says. "I'm Grog, this is Urg and Fuk," he says, pointing to the round goblin and the ape-like goblin, respectively. "We'll be right back."

"I'll be here," you say with a smile, though inside you're laughing your ass off. People always talk about how dumb goblins are, but man, they are really dumb. Fuk grabs Urg's pudgy arm and pulls the fat goblin to his feet. You expect them to hurry off down the corridor, but they rush straight at the wall. Your eyes widen as they push through the stones and disappear. Curious, you step over the wall and put out your hand, feeling along the cold stones, until it suddenly feels like thick cloth against your fingers. You push the camouflaged curtain aside, revealing a shadowy side passage.
