I pulled and tugged against my bonds for who knows how long. I looked for any kind of give I could find but it just wasn't happening. The Scarecrow had done too good a job binding me and when he reattached himself to the cross, the extra ropes wrapping around my body made it impossible for me to get loose. Eventually I just gave up and just hung there on the cross. I wasn't getting out of this.

Suddenly, the shadow cast by the cross expanded and out rose Darkness. Once he was fully formed he looked up at me with an amused smile on his face. "Didn't take you long to get yourself into trouble eh Dream Girl?" I rolled my eyes and started struggling against my bonds again. "Either get me down from here or get lost Darkness." He started laughing. "I gave you a break just a few minutes a go Dream Girl. I have a feeling if I let you out of this you'll just wander off and get trapped again." I glared at him. "So what, are you just going to leave me here?" He walked over and raised a hand to my body, which he dragged teasingly along my costume. I squirmed to get away from his touch but I had very little room to do so. "That depends on what you want Dream Girl. If I let you down, you have to agree to that romantic even I generously offered a few minutes ago." I glared at him. "Do I get another option?" He put his had on his chin, pretending to think about it. "Nope. Either join me for a lovely evening or enjoy your new life as a sexy scarecrow."
