Haruka will, reluctantly, follow her captain's order.

"I cannot believe I am about to say this, but... I don't have another idea." Haruka glanced up at the obvious cloud cover above. "I have been trying to hail F.V. since this whole mess started, but I haven't had any luck. Rebecca... I have no idea how I am supposed to flag down a 'space car' to hitchhike. What do you intend for me to do?"

Rebecca seemed pleased by Haruka's compliance and folded her hands together. "Oh, you know. You just stick your thumb up and out towards the road-"

"You mean towards space...? What?"

"Yes, towards the space road, or wherever really, doesn't matter, then you hold it there."

"And you're going to join me in this, I assume?"

"H-Haruka, I'm butt naked, remember?" The captain shyly covered herself, as though it was suddenly a problem. "This is why it's so nice to have a handy android around who can just turn her emotions off!"

Said android frowned. "I think it would be far more effective if both of us attempted this-"

"I'm just gonna hide out of sight!" Rebecca stalked over to some nearby rubble and hid behind it, as if that would somehow hide her from the arrival of a "space car." "Work your magic, Haruka!"

Haruka shot her one more pained glare before placing one hand on her hip, then stiffly extending the thumb of the other and thumbs-upping (at nothing, as far as she was concerned). She stood there with the patience of a machine, occasionally jabbing her thumb up and down experimentally. One minute passed... then another. As expected, there was no sign anything was happening.

"Haruka!" Rebecca hissed from her hiding spot. "You're never gonna get someone that way. Show off your assets!"

"... My weaponry? My advanced technology? I don't know what you're asking me to do or who you're asking me to do it for."

"Not that. Your butt! Show off your butt!"

In spite of her supposed emotionless, Haruka's face flushed in some apparent offense. "Rebecca... you are ordering to show off my butt to try and flag down a horny driver. Is that correct?"

"Yeah, flaunt that cute android ass of yours! You don't have any shame as an android, so it's no biggie, right?"

Haruka, sighed, biting her lip for a moment, then turned around and jut out her hips a bit more while holding her arm to sharply to the side with her thumb out. She turned her scowling face to her captain, still having no idea where she was even supposed to be pointing her display. "Like this?"

"No, fix your face. You need to look like a confident, sexy human ready for a good time!"

"A confident, sexy... completely naked human..." Haruka shut her eyes tightly for a moment, then opened them halfway again, wearing a crooked, twitching grin at the task she was being asked to perform after saving the galaxy. "Like this?"

"Yeah! It's great how androids have no shame. I could never do something like this as a human... Try wiggling your butt a little!"

The android complied. She timidly shook her pleasantly round bottom at nothing particular, jerking her thumb as though inviting nobody to a good time in return for a ride. In contrast to her own statements and Rebecca's repeated insistence, Haruka was definitely feeling powerful shame, even knowing she had no audience. "... Huh?"

A shadow had appeared overhead. A... space car... had seen her? Someone was coming to pick her up?
