A simple decision leads to an unexpected solution

Skyler didn't need long to think about this. Although he enjoyed Olive Garden, it was rare to be offered Sasi's Thai. It was a little expensive, but worth it in his humble opinion. It didn't hurt that he and his brother Koby had personally helped shape the dessert menu. Warm black sticky rice in coconut milk with ice cream on top was delicious! They originally only had white sticky rice to go with their ice cream (vanilla or strawberry), mango, or egg custard but with Koby's knowledge of exotic food. Koby mentioned it as a healthier alternative to white sticky rice. Interestingly enough, several weeks later, it became one of their biggest sellers. Granted, Skyler only did some taste testing, but that still counts, right?

Skyler walked over to his dresser to pull out a new pair of socks, a bright orange t-shirt with baymax on it with the words, 'I will scan you now.' underneath him. "You might want to get dressed." Koby turned to walk out of Skyler's room. "Okay. Just think about what you want to eat." Skyler slipped on his shirt. "Sasi's is good." Koby simply replied as he turned the corner. "Yeah." Skyler walked over to his desk and put on another pair of shoes, a black pair of loafers. He sighed as he thought. 'If I ruin these, I'll only have my running shoes and a pair of waterproof boots left. Ugh, if what happened earlier is going to become a trend. I'll need to learn how to repair my clothing and shoes.'

However, as that thought went through Skyler's mind he realized something important. 'If this is like the stories I have written online. Perhaps if I obtain a book to learn how to repair shoes or heck, a book to make anything. I should be able to repair these myself.' It was at this moment that he remembered a stack of books he had on a shelf in the corner of his room. These books had all sorts of home improving information, courtesy of Handyman Club of America, a club his mother had signed him up for many years back. Although the information was great, his current health made it very difficult, if not impossible to do these sorts of projects.

Skyler slipped on his socks and shoes before walking over to the stack of books and quickly looked over what he had remaining. He had given over half of his books to his other brother, Matt since he could actually make use of them. After a minute of looking over the different books he had available. He decided to pull out, Woodworking Solutions. When he touched it, a notification appeared in front of his face.

Skyler sighed as he thought. 'Figures.' He opened his inventory and put it inside before looking over his stats. 'I just need 4 more Endurance and Agility before I can learn that book. So, two levels.' Additionally he would be able to learn one of the other books he had obtained from Gaia earlier. So, a twofer if he could get his Agility to 15. As he turned back around, Koby had walked back into the room fully dressed. "Ready?" Skyler looked down at himself before nodding. "Yeah." They headed out to the car to enjoy their meal at Sasi's, but there were two questions that needed answering. Would they be able to enjoy a simple meal together? Or would something happen on their way there?
