Waking up to Oppressive Heat

She woke up sweating.

Eldra had never cared about being naked. Well, at least she thought so. She was as comfortable in clothes as out of them. Still, the heat when she awoke was a nightmare. Sweat was pouring from her brow, from her chest and practically every inch of skin. She reached down and wiped the drenched underside of one tit.

Hunger had her too. She ate the handful of berries she'd kept from the prior evening and looked around for more food.

As if on cue from her sweating a cold wind blew in. She couldn't explain from where or why, but she seemed to recall stories of old telling about some magical forest where everything, including the weather, would change on an instant. It was so cold her nipples immediately hardened and the sweat pouring from her body chilled her nearly to the bone. What she'd have done for clothes. If her male parts were exposed instead of retractable they'd have probably frozen off!

She couldn't stay put. She rose, her aching foot still slowing her as she made her way back down the trail.
