Into the Ghost Town!

Standing in the hallway, you realise that the hotel is completely silent. There was no noise of guests, no voices echoing and absolutely no clattering of plates from room service. It seemed strange that there was no-one around, but this didn't register too strongly. The hall itself had ten doors, an elevator and a staircase.

A hit of determination took you over as you marched down the staircase. Reaching the lobby, you look around once more, shocked to find no-one again. The room itself was large and had a fairly elegant look to it. It had pillars made of what you assumed to be marble or limestone. Against the back of the room sat a desk, piled with paperwork. You count the amount of doors, finding that there were four in total. This lobby had a strange, perhaps taboo atmosphere that you couldn't shake off.

Fuck it, you think, backing off and heading up the stairs, there's always an elevator.
