Chapter 20

Alex writes her revised anchor?
At least it's not as insane as the last one
"...And done," Alex beams and puts down her pen.
"Good girl," you say as you lean in and kiss her, making her giggle as you put a plate of breakfast in front of her. Of course, she doesn't let you get away with just one kiss. After she's stolen another half a dozen kisses, you disentangle yourself, take her sheet of notes and begin skimming over it as you sit down next to your own plate of food.
"You're Alex Sumisu, Asian female born in 1993. Studied medicine in university with a major in biochemistry. You work in the porn industry as an actress, doctor and producer, you love sex and can't get enough of it. You used to be a boy before you read a magical porn magazine, but you don't want to go back because you love being a energetic, smart, hot, horny and pansexual female.
"Your boyfriend is Jamie J. Jameson, whom you love very much for letting you be you. You will one day have his babies and become his MILF when you grow older. You might even let him marry you or hold your hand while walking down the streets."
As you finish reading the note, you feel Alex gently grab hold of your free hand, casually caressing it. "What do you think?" She asks with a careful smile and a small blush on her face.
"It's... very good," you say after a small pause and give her a smile. "I like the bit where you confess you'd like to hold hands in public."
"If we ever get out of this lockdown, I at least want to try to be a bit more normal," Alex says between chews, being a lot more serious than what you can remember she has been the past three days. "So, is it anything like the one in the tainted notebook?"
"No, it's much less problematic, to put it that way. Though I'm curious... did you invent a lot of this, or did you try and write it as you wanted things to be?"

Alex smiles her crime goblin smile at you. "I haven't read a line of medical papers in my life, and I'd say I'm as dumb as I used to be as boy Alex. So, my plan is to read this a few times and see if I get a new education. Accounting can go jerk off in the corner for me if I can get a smart brain, good work ethics and a well paying job after I've become world famous for getting fucked. It also would answer a question I've been thinking of; are these notes just ways to make infected people change themselves, or are they pathways back to their original selves?"
"Considering the pink book turned me into Yay Yay, your slutty female roommate through a sub-paragraph mentioning me, I suspect the latter," you say while focusing on the food, but as you hear Alex snort across the table you look up at her. "What?"
"Yay Yay?" she asks before breaking into a giggle fit. "Oh that's a keeper. I wish I could have met her!"
"I'm glad you didn't, you'd probably let me stay that way," You deadpan, adrenaline momentarily returning to your system at the memories of the addictive push-ups and the carefree attitude you had to your previous existence.
"Oh, for a while, sure. I'd take you out shopping matching outfits. But, as I promised, I want your dick in herculean shape within a month," She smiles, but not without obviously adding pauses of thought to make you question her honesty.
"I'll take your word for it," you deadpan back at her, causing her to giggle and smirk at you.
"That's my boy-toy! Alright, I'll just read this a few times and hope for the best then," she says and skims her notes. As she is about to begin, she pauses as she apparently finds a typo and does some quick corrections with her pen. "There! Wish me luck!"
You slow your pace at eating and pay attention to her whispering to herself, in case something interesting, or unexpected, happens.
The ritual commences with no unintended consequences?

The Unreality Pandemic
Maintain your reality, if you can
An unnatural event dubbed "the Unreality Pandemic" has allegedly been roaming around the world the past few weeks. Nobody knows much about it and most believe it's just a tale to sabotage the economic or political stability of their nations. Some voices, however, insist that it is real and recommend people to prepare by creating "anchors," written references to their old life, that they then can use to undo anything undesired.
