Kendra's car is gone but Heather's car is back. So just who is inside the cabin?
This Time Jennifer gets Cockblocked
The Rock Fellowship. That’s where Victoria had run off to last time and it would be the first place he’d look this time. If she really wanted to hide, Kurt knew that she wouldn’t be dumb enough to seek sanctuary in the same place twice, but if it was simply another attack of conscience though, maybe she would return. From her father’s words, and her own testimony, it was calming, happy spot, that held a lot of good memories from her time with Dustin, from before this long Spring Break cabin trip, when the world wasn’t quite so convoluted and confusing.
He barged into the cabin first, shouting Kendra’s name, calling for blood and answers. He got neither and the brunette failed to appear, so Kurt stomped from one end of the living area, shouting down one hallway then the other. With every breath in his lungs, he summoned her, until another terrible thought crossed his mind. It was possible that while they were gone Shawn had attacked, and taken not just one, but both girls. He put his head in his hands and felt sick, physically repulsed at himself for having been so stupid as to leave the two girls alone.
Jennifer followed him in through the open cabin door, still thoroughly bewildered. She stopped to observe the young man, how his distress and panic had turned to a regret and depression so quickly. Casting an eye around the room, she almost expected to find a dead body given Kurt’s reaction, but there was nothing. So, she asked him, bluntly, “what’s going on?”
“The car,” Kurt pointed out the door. “The car I told you she stole last time; she took it again.”
“Are you sure about that? Couldn’t she be around here somewhere? You haven’t had time to check everywhere.”
“I left her here with Kendra,” Kurt explained impatiently. He needed her to understand the gravity of the situation, but they were wasting time to find the girls. “Kendra was supposed to keep her safe and secure here, so if the car is gone, either Kendra failed or they’ve both been ****.”
“Who is this Kendra girl?” Jennifer inquired as she contemplated a third option. “She wasn’t here last time, was she?”
“No, she was Shawn’s girl,” Kurt revealed. “She flipped on him, partially out of jealousy for the attention he was giving to Victoria, but when he found out, he exiled her, and she turned to us.”
“Are you being serious?” Jennifer shook her head and took a couple steps backwards. “A known accomplice of Shawn’s shows up, gains your trust, and you just leave her alone with Victoria. How do we know that wasn’t the plan all along?”
“No…no…it can’t be…” Kurt said softly as he searched his mind for a reason it was untrue. “No! It’s definitely not true. Gavin said himself that Shawn didn’t know Kendra was here. It was only after Gavin let it slip that Shawn knew he could track Kendra’s GPS to Victoria’s precise location.”
“And you’re sure that wasn’t a lie?”
Kurt frowned and folded his arms. “Now who’s being paranoid?”
“I just don’t trust this girl, whoever she is. She works with Shawn, she comes to the cabin, and the moment she’s alone with Victoria, they both disappear. That sounds suspici-” The Ranger’s eyes widened abruptly, and her hands went straight to her hips. “That’s the bitch that sucked you dry.”
“What?” Kurt swallowed nervously.
“Yes, you told me about her, the girl that sucked your dick again and again while you were tied up and listening to Victoria’s date with Dustin. All while wearing that fishnet mesh suit I put on at the apartment.” Jennifer pointed away in some vague direction of the town. “That’s the slut you left Victoria with?!”
“Kendra has proven herself to be very trustworthy,” Kurt argued defensively. Maybe Jennifer was right that he’d made an error somewhere, but the judgement had felt right at the time. “She untied me in the first place when Shawn kidnapped me, she told me everything Shawn knew when she showed up here later, and when Victoria went missing, she helped me look. I had no reason to suspect her.”
“Everything Shawn knew, but I bet she didn’t mention Shawn was working with k3Y$Tr0kE, did she?” Jennifer countered, so enraged she began to pace the floor. “She told you just enough to make you trust her, but maybe she’s been playing you all along.”
“No, Kendra is a good person.”
Kurt opened his mouth to say those exact words, but instead the mouth that voiced them was bright and sweet, like an angel’s shout cutting across the disorder and confusion. A voice so recognizable they knew it belonged to Victoria before they even turned and saw her leaning against the doorway to the kitchen, her arms folded over her large chest. The sun shone into the room behind her, casting her in a golden light, dazzling and resplendent, and all the more so because she was only wearing a white bikini. Every part of her shimmering, lightly tanned skin, from the curve of her hips to the depth of her tight cleavage was made all the more delicious by the heavenly glow that surrounded her.
“Victoria?! But…the car…” he looked to the open door, as if Kendra’s sedan would appear from the air.
“Yeah, Kendra took it. It is her car after all,” Victoria reminded him of the overlooked fact. “Her mom called. I told her to go home for a night.”
“Damn it, couldn’t she have at least waited until I got back?” Kurt growled and finally breathed free, able to let all the stress and tension in his body escape. “She said she’d stay and keep an eye on you.”
“I told her to go.” Victoria repeated irritably. “So, if you want to blame anyone, blame me.”
“I’m not trying to blame anyone.” Kurt immediately understood his mistake and waved his hands in front of himself, trying to dispel the implication. “But Shawn is out there somewhere, and we know for a fact that he knows your location now. We have to be vigilant.”
“Kurt has a point,” Jennifer added, hoping to calm the situation. “No one is saying you can’t take care of yourself, but you being here all alone is just the kind of opportunity that Shawn is waiting for. There’s a reason Rangers and other officers of the Law have partners; It’s to have someone who always knows where you are and always has your back.”
“I know you’re both just looking out for me. Although you’re wrong about one thing. Shawn doesn’t wait for opportunities; he makes his own.” Neither Kurt nor Jennifer were quite sure how to respond to that, though Victoria didn’t give them much time to think about it, briskly sweeping on to a new topic as her bright green eyes fell upon Jennifer. “So, this is who you picked for your day of freedom. Good choice.”
“What? No…”
“Day of freedom?” Jennifer turned a side glance Kurt’s way. “What is she talking about?”
“It’s nothing,” Kurt stammered in his defense. “It’s not why I brought you here.”
“You lured her here under false pretenses? That’s shameful, Kurt,” Victoria teased him with a smirk. “You could at least tell her that you brought her here to fuck.”
“F-fuck?” Jennifer looked from one teen to the other, expecting one of them to explain.
“Don’t listen to her, she’s just having fun at my expense,” Kurt said hastily to the ranger, before rounding on Victoria. “Quit messing with me. Only Heather gets away with that.”
“And now I understand why she finds it so much fun,” Victoria chuckled, as she swayed gently on the spot, her hands clasped behind herself. “But who says I’m just messing with you? I am being serious. Perhaps I should even be annoyed that at the first chance you got you ran back to an old flame.”
“Annoyed?” Kurt growled. “How can you be annoyed when you gave me a free pass for a day? A free pass I didn’t want, I’ll remind you.”
“Sure, for a brief fling with Amber, or another roll in the hay with Kendra, before you hitched yourself to me exclusively,” Victoria laid out the distinction. “But this is fine too. Maybe it’s even better this way; if you fuck Jennifer, you’ll either finally get it out of your system, or you’ll know for sure that you’re making a mistake.”
“Would you two stop talking about fucking me like I’m just an object,” Jennifer interrupted. “I think I get the gist of it now though. You asked her to be your girlfriend, and she gave you a free pass to do what you wanted while she thought about her answer.”
“Almost,” Kurt confessed with some bitterness. “She knows her answer. She wants me to think about whether this is really what I want. I already told her that I know that I don’t want anyone else.”
“Victoria, do you mind if I talk to Kurt for a second?” Jennifer asked the blonde teen.
“Sure.” Victoria nodded and crossed the living room. “I’m gonna go take a rinse off anyway. Tanning left me feeling kinda icky.”
The Ranger waited for her to head down the hallway, out of earshot and disappear out of sight into the bathroom before she spoke again, and still dropped her voice so that it was barely above a whisper.
“Listen, don’t be too hard on her.” Jennifer told him firmly. “Maybe it’s better to just go along with what she wants.”
“You mean…” His eyes canvassed the length of her body, noting how the grey-green uniform hugged snug against her curves. He paid particular attention to how the swell of her large breasts filled her shirt.
“No, not that,” she hissed back. “I’m talking about her feelings. After everything that’s happened, she probably thinks of herself as damaged goods. To her, you’re going in for a used model, while there are plenty of new, untouched products out there that you could try. If it makes her feel a little better to make you wait a day, then just wait.”
“Alright,” Kurt agreed, seeing her point. “I wasn’t going to **** the issue anyway.”
“Which brings me to my next question,” she said, pouting slightly. “Was bringing me here to see Victoria really just some preamble to sleeping with me?”
“No, ugh, dammit,” Kurt glanced down the hall irritably towards Victoria, though he knew the blonde couldn’t see him. “That really wasn’t my intention, I swear.”
“Really?” Jennifer folded her arms tight across her large chest in disbelief. “Because I seem to remember a certain young man acting like I was just some slut that went looking for attention. What was it you said? That doing nothing was the way into my pants?”
“You know I didn’t mean it like that. My head was messed up because of the situation with Shawn and Victoria. It still is.” Kurt elaborated exasperatedly, his ability to balance the contentions of the women in his life weakening. “I already told you that at any other time seeing you in that lingerie-”
“-would have been a wet dream come true, yes, I remember.” Jennifer frowned. “As charming as that image is, your desire is not the problem. I never felt undesired by you, Kurt. You made me feel like a dumb slut for giving in to my needs. Not having sex since last fall might have made me ready to jump the first dick I saw, but do you really think there haven’t been opportunities between then and now? If I wanted to get fucked, I could trawl the streets and bars and there are plenty of men who’d offer to take the hit. Hell, there have been plenty of men who have asked me out. What we did was inappropriate because of where we were, because I was on duty, because of how it happened, but I let myself go because it was you. And in return, you made me feel worthless.”
“Shit.”
“That’s all you have to say for yourself? ‘Shit’?”
Kurt rubbed his forehead. “I just realized that is what it sounded like, but that wasn’t what I meant, at all. I was talking about myself, and my own stupid, immature notion that if I did some grand gesture up on the overlook that nothing else would matter. I thought I could overcome the age difference and your job if I took you to the right place and said the right words. But there, in Shawn’s apartment, in the wrong place at the wrong time, the fates almost aligned for us better than it ever had done before.”
Jennifer laughed. “Well, I guess that’s true.”
The Ranger bit her lip as she looked over Kurt’s strong, muscular young body. He still hadn’t put on a t-shirt since leaving the camp, and the hot weather had made him sweat gently, giving him a shiny, sleek appearance, not dissimilar to how she imagined he’d look after a length workout of thrusting his dick into her tight vaginal canal. Her own body flushed, heat spreading throughout at the thought of putting an end to her nearly yearlong dry spell.
“Since you’ve been given this free pass, and Victoria doesn’t mind, perhaps we could try-”
“Why is the door open?”
Jennifer clamped her mouth shut. Both she and Kurt looked to the front door where Ashley was shuffling into the cabin, supporting another young man. His arm was draped over her strong shoulders, and his nose was dark with bruising, although it had stopped bleeding. Neither Kurt nor Jennifer recognized him, but upon seeing his injury, Kurt hurried forward and helped Ashley carry him to the couch.
“Jennifer?” Ashley said, looking up at the older blonde. “Is everything okay?”
“Yes, I just came with Kurt to catch up with Victoria.” She nodded towards Leon. “What about him? Is he okay?”
“I’m fine,” Leon insisted as he put a hand to his forehead, trying to physically calm the dizziness. “Just a little…”
“We got jumped outside ‘Toxic’.” Ashley stuck to the lie she’d concocted. “Leon stepped in and scared them off, so they didn’t get anything.”
“Jumped?” Kurt glanced towards Jennifer, and she nodded with the same suspicion. “Shawn?”
But Ashley shook her head. “They were wearing masks, but it’s not exactly his kind of tactic, is it? Robbing me doesn’t further his agenda of getting close to Victoria, does it?”
“Why is it that every time I leave the room my ears are burning?” Victoria said, padding lightly back into the living room. She was still dressed in her white bikini, now only a little more wet, her damp hair, darker because of saturation, framing her face. Her face dropped in shock when she saw Leon. “Oh, my gosh, what happened?”
“We got jumped,” Ashley said with a sigh. “And before you even suggest Shawn had anything to do with it-”
“I wouldn’t suggest anything of the sort. It’s not his modus operandi.” Victoria insisted as she dropped onto the couch beside Leon, and gently touched his nose. He winced in response. “It’s still quite tender. You sure you shouldn’t take him to the hospital?”
“No hospital,” he said, his nose having cleared, allowing him to speak properly, but the ache in his cheeks still made it a chore to talk for any length. “I’m fine.”
“Men.” Jennifer rolled her eyes.
The cabin is getting full. Does anything else happen before anyone else arrives?
