The next day Samantha jokes about matching in the office

In the morning, you are excited and nervous to see Samantha in the office today. You're not sure if things will be different now that you have matched on Tinder. You wonder if you should ask her out.

But when you see her, she's in a group talking with a couple of your other cute employees Laura Jean and Caitlin, as well as one of your colleagues Jimmy who you think also has his eye on Samantha.

"Hey boss," Laura Jean says brightly as you walk over, "Samantha was just tell us how you're her new match."

"I like to think of her as my match," you say.

You expected more, but then the group quickly moves on with people sharing their Tinder horror stories.

You didn't know what to expect, but you didn't expect this - nothing. Nobody seems to think it matters that you and Samantha both swiped right for each other.

When you talk to Samantha later that day, there's nothing - no spark, no mention of Tinder. It's just the normal day in the Google office.
