You dream a dream of times gone by

You dream of a fight. Not just any fight, though. This must be the previous Holy Grail War. You come to this conclusion after you see a woman, clad in blue and gold regalia armor. She appears to be wielding a sword of some sort, but alas, it is currently invisible.

The person she is fighting is dressed in all black. You can barely make out he's there, save for a sinister mask. It's apparent that this servant is trying to avoid direct confrontation with the servant. While that battle ensues, another dangerous game of cat and mouse is underway.

"Heh, heh, heh. You will never win, Kiritsugu Emyia." A grating voice calls out to Kiritsugu's opponent. "All it will take is a momentary lapse in your servant's concentration and Assassin will kill you with one of his poison daggers. Heh, heh, heh."

That voice just gets under your skin. You look towards the man called by your adopted father's name. It's definitely him, albeit a bit younger, and dressed differently than you remember. "Not if I kill you first, Zouken Matou."

That name. Sakura's grandfather. The wrinkled bag of bones that Kiritsugu is facing down looks no different than you remember him. Kiritsugu moves in close, pulling no punches. And Zouken dodges. He moves fast. Faster than an old man like him should possibly move.

*Crack* Zouken's staff connects with Kiritsugu. A wicked grin spreads across Zouken's face. "Too slow, Emiya." Zouken brings his staff down towards Kiritsugu's head for the killing blow. "Time alter... Triple Accel..!" Kiritsugu chants. Suddenly he's moving even faster than possible. In a flash, Kiritsugu's back on his feet and has whipped out and loaded what looks like a single-shot pistol.

*BANG*

The shot rings out before you can register that the trigger was pulled. The bullet goes straight through Zouken. With a grin, the elder magus splits into a swarm of tiny insects and insidious, toothed worms that scatter in every direction. "Heh, heh, heh. You'll have to do better than that to defeat me, Emiya. Next time, I will have Assassin kill you first."
