The priority is to rescue the girl.

"We'll get the girl before the Gnolls get tired of her," decided Carrie. "It's unlike them to bother **** anyone so they're probably being controlled by someone else."

Camila stepped forward, "We should split up then. Most likely they'll be in the Whispering Woods to the east of the hills or will continue southeast until the hills become mountains. Either way there's a lot of ground to cover." The two elf twins nodded their heads.

"We'll take the mountains," the elf in white leather armour pulled a wickedly carved knife out of nowhere, the handle and then the blade appearing from the air in front of her. "There might be wood elves in the Whispering Woods and they'll not be pleased to see us."

Carrie turned to face Aaralon, "What of you? Will you go with Aura and Annex to the hills or with Camila and myself to the woods?"

It was the elf in black, Annex, who surprised Aaralon, "The student should come with us." Aaralon wasn't the only one surprised by the suggestion; he caught sight of the briefest flash of confusion on Camila's face before the buxom illusionist returned to looking serenely beautiful again. "We can test him in the Tears of the Crying God. He might be talented."

Carrie nodded thoughtfully, "I see." Once again she turned to Aaralon, "Which will it be? The woods or the mountains? Will you come with Camila and myself or the twins?"

Aaralon studied the four female mages. Carrie was extremely pretty but despite her close fitting clothes she seemed rather straight laced. The elves were wonderfully sexy but until just now didn't seem to have the time of day for him at all. Camila, on the other hand, was nearly as pretty as Carrie and he was sure her already low neckline had lowered even more just during the space of this conversation. Camila smiled brightly at him.
