To the Movies

Fred, is on his way to the movies inspecting his new stone. “Man, this things is really neat glad I found it!” He felt silly speaking to himself and getting happy over a stone of all things but continued onward. Upon reaching the movie theater he pondered what he wished to watch. “I might as well enjoy my day as much as I can, heck I’m a free man no longer tied down by being in a relationship.”

Fred finally settled on seeing the new Jumanji movie. He approached the ticket counter and asked for a ticket. The man behind the counter seemed bored and said, “Sorry, there aren’t any seats available for that showing.” Fred thought “Well, that is just my luck!” but figured he would try to argue and get some entertainment out of it. “What do you mean there aren’t any seats there is always a seat!” He almost shouted while clenching the pebble in his pocket in anticipation of a rebuttal.

The man behind the ticket counter seemed surprised and quickly said, “Sorry sir, I must have been looking at the wrong movie because there is one seat open.” Fred, who was pleasantly surprised by the fact there was indeed a seat mumbled to the man, “Ok...sorry about that I’ll take the seat.” After paying for his ticket Fred proceeded inside bought a popcorn and went into the movie. Midway through the movie which he truly hadn’t like he felt the urge to pee but was trying to think thoughts of not having to while grasping the stone still in his pocket. As soon as it came it was gone Fred thought, “I really must have not had to go weird.” He finished the movie not impressed at all.
