Chapter 9
by Coriander12
What did she do?
She leaves but meets an interesting individual to say the least
"Lydia please, I'm not sure any more is needed!" Malon stated as her friend smiled. "Oh alright, but you look great now, the King will be ever so pleased when he looks at you!" she stated as Cremia had no doubt he would, but she was going to meet with Princess Zelda rather than him, not that enough people weren't going to gawk at her as was.
Slipping out into the castle town square Malon tried her hardest to move around its edges, most people not really paying attention to her as she worked her way towards the route to the castle, hoping no-one would notice her. Her chest felt cold and she felt mortified even looking down at her two breasts or smooth legs. Even without looking at them she was subconsciously holding her hands over her abdomen, trying to make sure people didn't see her well toned stomach.
She was almost at the street to the castle however when she heard a voice behind her saying "there you are" and turned to find a smiley weird bald and bearded man standing behind her, but what caught her attention was the huge horn on his back connected to a box which he was twisting a rod around like a jack in the box. "I'm sorry. I don't know you" she stated as he looked at her. "I'm the windmill man, the musician?" he stated as Malon shook her head. "Once again, I really don't know you" she stated as he nodded. "I'm the man your manager must've told you to meet today" he stated as she shook her head.
"I don't have a manager mister" she stated as he looked at her. "Aren't you a dancer?" he asked as she shook her head. "No. I'm not" she stated as he looked her up and down. "You certainly look like one" he commented. "Although now that I look, you look like a Gerudo despite wearing a gerudo kind of outfit" he stated as she blushed. "Sorry for the misunderstanding but I have to go" she apologised as she was about to turn and he called for her to wait.
"Sorry, but my gerudo dancer seems to have gotten too shy to come or something, and I've been waiting for her for hours. Would you be interested in dancing a little bit for a few hours?" he asked her as she shook her head. "I'm not a dancer I promise" she stated as he looked at her. "I don't need much, just a bit of hip swaying to the rhythm. I've been working on this new song for a month or two and I need someone to dance to it. It'll get us both a lot of money if we do it" he stated as she shook her head.
"I really can't" she apologised as he looked dejected. "Could you listen to it once maybe then? I consider it my greatest work yet, I guarantee you'll be swaying in no time" he promised her as she sighed. "Alright, I suppose I could listen" she agreed as she stood and watched as he started turning the jack in the box-like contraption with enthusiasm, and suddenly she found herself tapping her feet along and before she knew it she was swaying a little bit and feeling excited and flushed, something about the rhythm making her heart beat faster as the music stopped suddenly and she brushed her hair back over her bare shoulders and took a breath.
"That was really good" she stated as she heard a bunch of affirmative claps almost at the same time she said that as she turned to find a crowd had gathered. "Encore!" many of them were screaming as she looked at the musician and he looked back at her. "A good dancer... with a dancer this song will be even better" he pleaded as she nodded, something about his jingle being quite irresistible to not move to. "Alright, I'll dance" she confirmed as he smiled.
A dance performance, what could go wrong?
