Heading into the mall you checks your phone seeing that it’s already 11:45. “Shit I’m late I hope their not too mad at me.” you think texting Ross.

We’re in GamePause right now but there aren’t any good sales today. We’re about to head to Novels-a-thousand.

You make your way through the mall still thinking about the app. “How is this thing real. How did it get those pictures of mom and Clara?” Before you can make any headway on the matter you sees your friend Ross and his girlfriend Heather.

“Yo Lucus over here” Ross yells waving his hand at you. Ross is a tall lean guy.You don’t know exactly how tall he is but know he’s easily over 6 foot. You two have known each other since middle school would often spend the night at each others houses. Going to the same college you two still hang out and play games together. Puberty was rough for Ross his acne scars still marking his face. Recently Ross has started dating a girl he met in his robotics class named Heather.

You make your way to the duo.

“Hey guys sorry I’m late”

“No problem bro” Ross says

“I was beginning to think you stood us up” Heather quipped

Heather is a short petite girl, her head reaching Ross’ chest. She has strawberry blond hair, a face full of freckles and a pretty smile with the whitest teen you’ve ever seen. Her boobs are a little bit bigger than Jamie’s, and after a couple of meetings with her you figured out she too doesn’t bother with bras. “Oh she went on inside I think she said she was looking for something” Ross says making a gesture towards the books store “Have you asked her for her number yet?”

Feeling your face grow red you shake your head “I’ve been waiting on the right time”

“You know we all only have a couple more classes and then we graduate in the winter, don't wait too long and miss your chance.”

Heather grins “Oh so your Mr relationship now huh Ross remind me again who asked who out” Ross’ face grows a little red “but I agree Lucus you don’t wanna wait too long she might end up finding someone before you find your moment. I mean she did come all the way here to hang out today.”

“Yeah you guys are right...I just...I dunno are you guys ready to go in?”

“Yeah bro” Ross says putting his arm around Heather giving you a wink “Lead the way.”

Going in the store you head for the board game and table top section,you aren’t too interested in tabletop games but they are Ruth’s passion. Sure enough you find Ruth reading the back of a game called Farmers vs Shepards. Looking up and making eye contact with you her face lights up “Hey Lucus, Happy Birthday” she smiles warmly at you “hey come check this game out it sounds interesting.”

Ruth is nerdy there's no denying it, but she's also hot. She has recently dyed her hair red keeping the end her natural black. She is a pale girl and Lucus has never seen her in any other colors besides white and black. She is a short girl standing only 5’3 but makes up for it usually by wearing shoes with lifts on them. Today being no exception she is wearing a white tank top that hugs her pale D cup rack and a short black skirt on top of fishnet pantyhoes that disappear into her shin high motorcycle boots. You two wer paired in your Psychology class for a assignment on Sigmound Freud, you both agree that it makes sense that boys and girls would want to fuck their parents but killing the other one is a bit too far.

“Oh what’s this one about?”you ask

“Okay so you can either be a farmer or a shepherd and you must run and defend your farm from...” you get lost in the plot of the game and catch yourself looking down at her chest noticing the slight jiggle everytime she raises her arms describing the game. The big pale orbs seem to be exploding out of her top. “...And that’s the short end of it” she finishes with a big smile.

“Oh yeah it sounds fun” you say smoothly

“Oh really and what was your favorite part of the game..and no sneaking a peek at the girls doesn’t count” you look up at her your face going red.

“Don’t worry, it's your birthday so I’ll let you off the hook this time” she says with a wink.

“Sorry..uh..um you thinking about getting it?” you stammer trying to change the subject.

“I really want it but I gotta get some gas for the drive home maybe I can find it cheaper online” she says pulling out her phone and typing away.

“I’ll check Congo for you.” you say eager to help.

You pull out your phone and sees the AMA app. “I wonder” you think peeking at Ruth. You open the app and are greeted by a new message.

“Oh wow it’s that high!” you mumble

“Yeah I know I guess the store is running a sale dammit I got my hopes up for a second” Ruth says disappointment in her voice

Pausing for a second you remember that you were supposed to be looking for Ruth’s game. Not wanting to get caught you say “Yeah it’s pretty high on here too”

Looking at the shelves with the other copies of the game you sees that it is $45.99. Suddenly remembering you reach in your pocket and feel your sister’s gift.

“I wonder if my number will go up if I buy her this game” you ponder “it’s an expensive test but worst case my number stays the same but I do something nice for Ruth”

“Y’know” you says suddenly causing Ruth to look up from her phone “I could get it for you”

“Oh no, I couldn’t ask you to do that” Ruth replied shaking her head putting the game back “it’s your birthday let's find you something.”

You glance down at your phone noticing that her number has gone up to 59 overall. “One point for just offering that does it I gotta try it.”

“Okay well how about this I’ll buy this for you but you have to play it first with me.”

She studies you for a second and look at the game “Are you sure I really don’t want you to waste your money.”

Feeling slightly more confident because of the app you look at her and say “Okay well how about I loan you the money and you pay me back with a burger and fries from FiveGals”

Ruth raises her eyebrows “Are you asking me out Lucus Straight”
