Unusual turn of events

"I won't go there." Jane thought as she ran across the hallways "too many odd things have happened today, I just want to go home". As she was about to step out as she noticed that Starbucks was right next to her. A goosebump ran on her skin as she didn't remember it was there when she arrived. Maybe she took the wrong exit. Yes, it might be that, she thought as another run wild in her mind. What if she went there? The person who wrote the paper was right about those girls, maybe she should go. Perhaps...

"Can I take your order?" asked a girl behind the bar snapping Jane from her thoughts. She was inside! How did she come inside without realizing it? "Madam?" the girl asked again as Jane made her order. She paid and took her coffee as she searched for an empty table. She spotted some but it was another thing that caught her attention. There was a woman sitting on a table alone, dressed all in black with long platinum blond hair and heavy makeup that made her skin look pale. Somehow Jane was attracted to her like she was calling at her table.

Jane came close "So, I came. What do you want from me?" she asked. The woman in black raised her eyes to Jane, giving her a cold gaze "Excuse me? Do you know me?" she asked while sipping on her cup. Jane blushed, what was she doing? She wasn't thinking that the semi goth girl should be the one responsible for the oddities was so cliché by her. It was at that point that Jane noticed a hand rising three tables behind the woman waving at her. Jane apologized with the woman and passed by, a young girl was weaving her left hand as she pointed an empty seat in front of her "Hey, come here" she said.

Jane sat there and placed the coffee at her side "Oh, I'm glad you came, at last, I was worry you would not" she said as you noticed a low tone on her voice "I'm Leslie and I heard everything that happened in the bathroom. Those girls were really mean to you" she said, "How did you know that they were speaking about me?" Jane asked as she kept looking at Leslie "Coincidences" she replied "But the point is not that" she took a sip of Jane's coffee "The point is how can we teach them a lesson they will never forget". Leslie grinned as she took off a pendant over her neck and placed it in Jane's hand "Do you believe in magic, Jane?". Jane's eyebrows raised "Magic? There's no such thing as that" she said as she put the pendant around her neck mechanically "You're crazy to think I will believe in something like that".

Jane's neck begun to thin around the necklace, "But Jane, magic is real. And it can help us in so many ways" Leslie said as she cracked her shoulders "Magic is not real, you think abracadabra or some weird magic words could change things at will?" Jane's hair grew an inch down her back as her arms got thinner the more they talked. "Yeah, you're right. I'm sure you've always looked like a cheerleader" Leslie laughs as Jane hit her fists against the table "Asshole, you think it's funny to be like me?" she screamed angry at her. Leslie smirked, "I think you should take a look at yourself" as she offered Jane a little mirror for make-up.

Jane took it and stared at her reflection. Is it real? She's thin! She looks like an average girl instead of a chubby one. "How is it possible?" she asked as she checked at her new slim waist and arms, "I told you, magic is real" Leslie finished drinking Jane's coffee "And I gave you the chance to use it at will," she said as she stood up to get out of the bar. "Wait!" Jane said, "Tell me are you a..." Leslie turned her head and gave her a colder gaze than the goth girl before "Don't you know it's rude to assume someone's gender?" Leslie said in a voice that made Jane shiver. Leslie turned back and disappeared behind the glassdoor.
