Demoted to Secretary

“I’ve got to demote you,” Bill said.

“You can’t do this,” John said, “I’m a hard worker.”

“And now you’ll work harder as my personal secretary,” Bill said. He took out some papers and handed them to John.

“What’s this?”

“Transfer papers.”

“This can’t be right, the name says Jane, not John.”

“Look again.”

John looked again at the paper, but instead of reading it he saw his hand. His names became long and red, his hand becoming daintier.
