Cut to the next day, as the quarantine ends and they're free to go home.

Explaining to their parents, teachers, and fellow Brigade members that the three of them had been afflicted with the Monster Girl Virus and were self-quarantining the club room until they were safe again was difficult. But compared to actually living out those hours, it was nothing. Asahina, of course, was nothing but an angel to Kyon, and once they knew Haruhi had actually fallen asleep for the night, they talked a little about what had happened. There hadn't been any nearby cases of the Virus that they knew of, so Haruhi probably wished she'd contracted it for some reason, causing the whole situation. Kyon didn't bring up that fact that he'd met Asahina's older self, after all he'd been told not to, but Asahina the Elder wasn't a monster girl, so this must have constituted a change to the timeline. That, or they had a way to reverse this in the future.

Of course, it was Haruhi Suzumiya herself that made life hard for Kyon and Mikuru. Even though she'd shown signs of improvement, the reality warper still had difficulty not treating others as though they were her playthings, and when that mixed with a demonic influence and an increased libido, that meant she tried 'doing stuff' with both of them several times. That stopped once Kyon made it clear that sexual **** of anyone was unacceptable, and that he'd stop her by any means necessary, including filling up her orifices until she caved. After that, Haruhi behaved a little better, and shortly before they were free she offered an apology to Kyon and Mikuru, both for spreading the Virus to them and for her behavior. Once the twenty-four hours were up, they went their separate ways. His parents weren't exactly thrilled to find their baby-boy was now a gelatinous teenage girl, but his little sister enjoyed poking him and watching his slime jiggle, so that was something.
