Knowledge Video 3 - Things you do for love

The group of islanders all watch Rachel's car disappear into the horizon and then were driven in separate shuttle vans back to the main villa. Rachel’s departure left a somber mood in the villa with the other Islanders all discussing Rachel and the things they’ll miss about her. Afterward, there was a bit of time before lights outs, and you wanted to check your notifications.

There was another slot available in the Relationship Party, and a part of you desired to put Mona in it. You open the menu up and see the unlocked slot vacant and argue internally over whether or not to put Mona in it. Would you be that greedy? It was one thing to be between two girls you really liked but another just to add Mona in it for your own whims. Although Jenna and Paige were clear frontrunners in your heart, you couldn’t deny that Mona appeals to you in a way that excites you but also scares you. It couldn't hurt to have Mona in it. Just in case... She could become friends with Paige and Jenna and that would remove any potential dangers in the future. You would put the decision on hold for now.

The other notification that caught your eye was the video, Knowledge Video 3. After unlocking it, you had 55 points after deductions and went to a private place to watch it.

The video starts, and you see the outside terrace of the manor where the dinner party and eventful recoupling took place just hours ago. The camera focuses on you staring at Paige and Tom, who were talking, a frown covers your face. The camera then pans towards Mona, who walked out to get some fresh air and then sees you staring at Paige and Tom. Mona’s head turned to look at what you are looking at. Mona then smiles mischievously and passes you and grabs Tom for a chat much to the chagrin of Paige.

The camera pans back to you, and you walked towards Paige. The video cuts to another scene and camera angle with Mona speaking with Tom privately. They were sitting on a bench next to each other.

“What’s up?” Tom asked.

“How are you and Paige doing?” Mona asked back.

“She’s cool. I mean, I’ve always liked her, but I think she’s still into Matt. Besides, I have you,” Tom said and leans forward for a kiss, which Mona puts two fingers on his mouth to stop to which he added with concern, “What’s wrong?”

“Tommy, you’re a sweet guy, but honestly, seeing you with Paige just makes me really upset,” Mona says, a dishonest frown on her face.

“What? Like me and Paige were just talking? I mean, aren’t you doing the same with Mike?” Tom asks.

“I know, I know. We’re all here to find 'the one' and I’m playing the field, but I can’t stand Paige. I’m going to be upfront with you, Tom. Mike and I are going to couple up in the next recoupling. I told him already that I made a decision between the two of you, and I pick him. It would be really sweet of you to accept it and move on and pick Rachel at the next recoupling,” Mona said coarsely.

“Like what? Like… I mean… that’s it? I thought we had something special,” Tom said sadly. The look of genuine disappointment and heartbreak makes you feel pity for poor Tom.

“I’m just breaking it to you now so you don’t get upset or shocked at recoupling. Tom, you were always my second option. I was only flirting with you in case Mike wasn’t all into me, but now that it’s clear he is… well, shoot… I don’t really need you anymore,” Mona said, a frown on her face that resembles a customer service agent saying they can’t allow a refund on a product.

“Wow… You really know how to put a guy down, huh?” Tom says, and Mona reaches over and strokes his arm.

“Tommy… you still have a chance with me. Pick Rachel and eliminate Paige at the next recoupling, and maybe it’ll let me see how awesome a guy you really are.”

Tom looked floor at that and got up, and his fists began to tighten. The veins in his neck were throbbing, and he let out as cooly as he could, “Yeah… like I’ll do what you fucking want you dumb two-faced bitch.”

The spurned man stomped away furious, and Mona looked at him with genuine concern and a bit of shame. Her face turns towards the gardens where she left you and Paige. Mona sighs and then smiles pensively.

"The things you do for stupid boys," Mona said under her breath.

Her objectives there were incredibly transparent. Why would Mona help you and Paige out? I mean if Mona really wanted you, wouldn't she just have to eliminate Paige? You had to find out.

It was late back at the villa, and the night sky was out in full display. Mona was by the fridge with a spoon in a carton of coconut yogurt and smiles at you as you approach.

“Hey, quite an evening, huh Matty? Geez, if I didn’t know better, I would say you are putting on quite a performance for the audience at home back there.” Mona says and then spoons some yogurt into her mouth and leaves the spoon in her mouth like a lollipop all the while smiling like the Cheshire Cat.

“Why did you do that?”

“Do what, Matty?” Mona asks.

“You obviously said something to Tom right before it happened to make him change his mind at recoupling. Why?”

“Oh, that silly thing? I just wanted to be open and honest with him. I was growing bored of dragging poor Tommy around on my heels.”

It was clear she was still as manipulative and tricky as ever. Guess people don’t change their stripes that quickly.

“Mona… these are human beings. You shouldn’t treat Tom like that.”

Mona sighs, “I mean if I hadn't done that then Mike would have picked Rachel over Paige... and here I thought you’d be grateful to me for saving Paige. You would come running after me, saying ‘Mona, you are wonderful and so clever and truly a girl worthy of myself’.”

“So you did it be closer to me?”

“I didn’t think you’d piece it together, smarty boy. I did it for my own reasons,” Mona says and closes her lid of yogurt and puts it away in the fridge.

“May I ask what reasons are those?”

“I want it to be a fair fight between me and Paige and Jenna.”

Confusion covers your face, and Mona sees and sighs again, having to explain it.

“When the time comes, I want you to pick me over Jenna and Paige while they are still both here on the island. I told you, Matt… I may have come later than them, but I will end up winning,” Mona looks dangerously at you.

Mona freezes you in your place as she slithers closer to you and pulls her lips towards yours. She wraps her arms around your neck and draws you closer and two of you lock lips and kiss. She was teasing and bit your bottom lip as she parts and then smiles and says, “If you really want to thank me for doing you a favor, come to the bathroom downstairs. You know the one. We have unfinished business there… I’ve been a naughty girl to Tom and Rachel, and you really need to punish me…”

Chills were sent down your spine as her mouth leans close to your ears and finishes with the soft word, “daddy.”
