Roger picks the hulk with the battleaxe.

There was no telling how this game was going to play out, but if things were to turn violent, his best bet would be the big man with the gaint axe. Roger made the selection. Suddenly things became hazy. Roger's mind clouded and then everything went dark.

"Wake up, bard!" A voice called out. Roger felt something jostle him. He stirred and sat up. "At last!" The voice cried out. "Come, bard, adventure awaits!"

"Who? What?" Roger managed to get out with his head still muddled.

"The grand wizard runs rampant and must be stopped!"

"Right, right... The game..." Roger recalled.

"This is no game, bard! Itis a matter of life and ****!"

Roger could finally gather enough of his senses to make out who was talking to him. It was a giant of a man with ham fists and a chiseled chin that could have been made out of marble. "Uh... Who are you again?"

"Call me Grimm. I have been hired to aid you on your quest to save the land from Paul!"

"Is this real?" Roger asked, incredulously, looking at his hands then his medeival attire. He had assumed the game was a video game, but maybe it was more a live action fantasy game.

"Your friends told me you would be disoriented from the journey.," Grimm nodded sagely. "You have travelled a great distance to come to these lands. "Were these better times, I would show you some of the more entertaining sides, but we are under the rule of a despot."

Roger nodded, remembering the story summary in the computer. "Fine, fine," he said, "So, what is it that I'm supposed to do?"

"Dethrone the grand wizard, of course! Only you have the power to do that!"

"You look strong enough to handle anyone," Roger noted.

This got a heary laugh from the giant. "Ahaha! Aye, were it any other man, it would be true, but this man wields magicks that only you are immune to. My job is to get you close enough to deal with him."

"Alright, makes sense," Roger accepted. "So where are we and how do we get to this wizard?"

"We are in a cabin close to the castle. It is heavily guarded by soldiers under the wizard's thrall. They can still reason and make their own decisions, but the are magically loyal to the wizard."

"How come you aren't enthralled?" Roger asked.

"I was, until one of your friends freed me," Grimm explained.

"Then could't we free the others in the same way?"

Grimm rubbed the back of his head and looked around uneasily. "The um... Process isn't particularly fast... Or easy." Roger stared at the giant until he would elaborate. "You see... In order to break free of the enchantment, one must be brought to an **** measure of emotion."

"Like ****?"

"Or pleasure," Grimm answered with a flush of embarrassment.

Roger gave the man a jovial punch on the arm."You lucky dog." He pondered this information for a while, then said, "So that won't work... But may be useful to know. How do we get into the castle?"

"As much as I hate to admit it, the guards may be too much for me alone in a direct strike, but there may be a way to sneak in through the sewers. The wizard also holds court during the day like he was the revered King Maior, Lord rest his soul. If we took that route, you'd have to be quick in dispatching the man, or you may be facing me in battle as well."
