The clock was against him, but Roger still felt there was something more to this game than everyone was letting on. He looked down at the desk and noticed there was a drawer there. He opened it to find another envelope. It looked similar to the one he was given earlier, including his name on the front. The young man opened the envelope and read the letter inside.

If you are reading this, then you have deduced that there is more to this game than everyone was letting on. Congratulations! You have taken the first step towards the high standards I have set out for you. For someone to run my empire, they must be able to think outside the box and in the box at the same time, but not all at once. In fact, too much thinking is bad for you, sometimes you have to go with your gut. You went with your gut and found this letter, which means you know what I'm talking about.

The rest of the letter listed instructions for Roger to follow. Many of them nonsensical, giving Roger the needling suspicion that his uncle wasn't all there before he went. This gave Roger pause. If he were to follow these instructions, would that just be him showing himself as a pawn or would it prove his trust in his uncle's wisdom? There was so much he didn't know about his benefactor.
