Get in the girl's view.

It occurs to you that this may be an opportune time to mess with Lynn. She has already shown signs of jealousy when you and Tammy were hitting it off. How would she respond to another girl full on loving you? Not to mention, you’re curious how two magic wishes would interact. Lynn put a women repellent spell on you in science class, rendering you undesirable by the female sex. Would a love potion counteract that?

“OW!” you shout out so that everyone’s eyes turn to you. The brunette turns as well. Her eyes appear to sparkle with tiny hearts as they focus on your image.

“What was that?” Lynn asks you.

“I bit my tongue…” you lie, covering your mouth to play it up.

The rest of the cafeteria quickly returns to whatever they were doing before, but the brunette continues to stare at you, breathing as if she were burdened by a heavy weight. Her friends beckon her to join them and snap her out of her revelry long enough to follow, but her eyes retrain themselves onto you as she heads out.

“Well, there you have it, the potion worked!” Lynn announces.

“I’m not fully convinced,” Tammy says. “That didn’t look like full on love right there. That was more like an infatuation.”

“She’s shy, why do you expect?” Lynn reasons.

“Or maybe she just found Riley weird and was staring because of that,” Tammy surmises.

“It could be something is preventing her to act on her desires,” you point out with a raised eyebrow to Lynn, hinting at the women repellent she threw on you in science class.

Lynn frowns and says, “Fine, we’ll get another batch and another test subject and I’ll prove to you that it works!”

“Nope! This was the test and you failed!” Tammy grins. “I win the bet!”

Lynn scowls. She gives you a cold stare. It’s obvious she’s suspects your chicanery in messing up her spell, but she doesn’t appear infuriated by it. She grimaces, clenching her fists and stares hard at the ground. “Fine! You win!”

Tammy clasps her hands together and hops, giggling like the schoolgirl she is. “Oh my god! You’re actually going to do it!? This is going to be so wild! Hihihi!”

Oddly enough, Lynn doesn’t have a response. Instead, she empties her tray and leaves. You follow, concerned.

“You alright?” you ask, after a few moments of eerie silence.

“Yeah, you got me good,” Lynn says after another moment of silence.

“I don’t know what you mean…” you reply.

Lynn scoffs, unconvinced. “You worked my wishes against me, clever play. Just like a real genie would have done!”

It’s not like you planned for things to work out that way, but Lynn’s tone had a tinge of reverence in it, so you take the comment as a compliment. “Well, it’s no big deal, is it? I mean you can wish for Tammy to forget all about the bet and all is good again, right?” you say.

“I could…” Lynn says, leaving it at that.

You wonder if Lynn will really follow through with the bet. Since you interfered with the outcome, she could easily use that as an excuse to renege. Tammy isn't aware of the women repellent spell on you, but that doesn't mean Lynn couldn't consider the test compromised and wish for a do over of some sort. Is she waiting for your permission to do so? She said she got outplayed by you and is apparently willing to face the consequences of that, unless you step in.
