A mid-match interruption

October 6th, 2019 - Sacramento California - Hell in a Cell

The night’s penultimate contest is underway as Charlotte Flair faces Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

Flair runs to the ropes looking to come off with a clothesline but Bayley runs after her then grabs Charlotte’s leg and trips her as she slides out under the bottom rope. Bayley wraps both her arms around Charlotte’s knees and drags the tall blonde out of the ring then drops her down on the floor.

“It wasn’t pretty, but this isn’t about style points,” Corey Graves comments. “Nasty landing for Charlotte Flair.”

“Now there’s one thing about Bayley,” Michael Cole remarks as Bayley grabs one of Charlotte’s legs. “Very concerned about getting the job done as of late.”

“That’s what it takes to--”

“Boom! Right into the apron!” Cole interrupts his partner as Bayley smashes Charlotte’s leg into the LED board.

“That’s what it takes to remain a champion here in WWE,” Corey continues where he left off. “OH! And again!” Corey exclaims as Bayley again smashes Charlotte’s leg into the LED board, “We saw Becky go to absolutely brutal lengths to keep her Raw Women’s Championship in that Hell in a Cell Match. We saw a blinded Nikki Cross dive through a cloud of mist and blatantly **** Asuka to retain the Tag Team Titles, and we even saw Carmella wrestle bottomless so she wouldn’t lose the 24/7 Championship.”

“Hold on, Corey,” Cole interrupts again, “You might want to hear this. I’ve just received word that there’s an altercation going on backstage. Sarah Logan found Carmella hiding in a closet!”

For the fans watching at home who are listening to Graves and Cole’s commentary, the steadicam shot of the ring shrinks down and is tucked away into the corner of the screen like its a commercial break during one of the weekly shows as Bayley rolls Charlotte back into the ring. As for the fans watching live in the Golden 1 Center, their attention is drawn away from the ongoing match and shifts to the video that is now playing on the screen at the top of the stage.

The audio transitions to backstage and the fans are greeted by screaming as Sarah Logan, who is now dressed in jeans and a black tank top drags a kicking and screaming and still topless Carmella out of a maintenance closet. She is still wearing only a pair of black sweatpants and is hugging her 24/7 Championship to her chest for a tiny bit of cover.

“Think you can humiliate me and get away with it!?” Sarah bellows. “I don’t HAVE anything else! I’ll spend the rest of my career hunting you down and making your life a living hell!”

Logan drops down to her knees and starts to brutally club Carmella on her bare back.

“I don’t even care about your damn title anymore!” Sarah growls. “All I want now is to hurt and humiliate you as much as humanly possible!” She stops clubbing Carmella on the back and grabs the waistband of her sweatpants. “Don’t even bother putting clothes on anymore! I’m gonna find you and keep tearing them off!”

The question of whether or not Carmella was wearing panties under her sweatpants remains unanswered as Logan yanks down the sweatpants and once again exposes Carmella’s bare ass to the WWE Universe. Carmella ticks and flails as Sarah peels her tight black sweatpants down her legs and then yanks them up.

“NOOO!” Carmella shrieks as Sarah strips her completely naked.

Logan grins viciously as she balls up Carmella’s black sweatpants then turns and chucks them off down the hallway.

But in that split second, Carmella springs up off the floor and swings the 24/7 Championship that she was just clutching to her chest around her and smashes it right into Sarah’s face. Logan crashes to the ground **** while Carmella sits up and hugs the championship to her naked chest. It is now the only cover she has left.

“You may not care about my baby BUT I SURE DO!” Carmella snaps. “I’m not going through all this naked crap just to give her up! I don’t care how much money Stephanie McMahon puts on my head! NO ONE’S getting this championship without a fight!”

“THERE SHE IS!” The camera pans to the side and shows a horde of seven angry women charging down the hallway.

Carmella pales as she stares down the hall at the women coming after her then glances over at the **** brunette lying on the floor beside her. “Of course… to get that fight… they’ll have to catch me first!” The naked blonde scrambles back up and runs for her life.

The 24/7 Championship is literally all Carmella has left for cover. She’s hugging the hugging the title plate to her chest which is just enough to cover her small boobs and one of the thick green leather straps of the title’s belt is flapping down between her legs to cover her crotch.

The angry horde of seven angry women nearly trample Sarah Logan as they run down the hall after Carmella. Natalya and Lacey Evans are at the lead, the IIconics are nipping at their heels, Dana Brooke and Sonya Deville come next, and Tamina - who is built for power and not speed - is bringing up the rear. It’s also worth noting that there are two different referees running along behind them.

Meanwhile, the match between Charlotte and Bayley is still going on out in the ring. Bayley is working over Charlotte’s left leg. She smashed it into the ring post and even locked her in a single leg crab. But it’s when Bayley gets cocky and tries to lock Charlotte in the Figure Four that Charlotte fights out with a quick forearm to the face. The Queen begins to give Bayley a taste of her own medicine and works over the Smackdown Women’s Champion’s leg.

But the chase continues backstage until Carmella skids to a stop in front of a curtain. A curtain that leads out to the ring. Carmella is caught between a rock and a hard place with an arena full of nearly ten thousand fans just behind the curtain and a mob of angry woman who have now caught up with her.

“End of the line, Carmella,“ Natalya says as she stops a little bit away from Carmella who looks like a caged animal as she desperately hugs the 24/7 Championship to her for cover. The other six women stop behind the Queen of Hearts. The long-time WWE veteran is an important figure in the locker room. Even Lacey Evans knows that as she steps up beside the woman she was fighting earlier on the pre-show.

“Ye're not just a nasty,” the Sassy Southern Belle sneers. “Ye’re a NAKED nasty.”

“Looks more like a trapped rat to me,” Sonya growls as she glares over at Carmella.

“So this is how the women’s locker room operates now, huh?” Carmella asks in an attempt to talk her way out of the horrible situation. “Stephanie McMahon offers you extra money and you all gang up on me!”

“I don’t care about the money,” Nattie insists. “I’ll donate it to the Susan G Komen foundation.”

“I care about the money…” Billie Kay quietly admits with a glance towards Peyton.

“Well no one asked you!” Dana Brooke snaps at her.

“What I care about,” Natalya continues, “Is this women’s division and how you’ve been disgracing it ever since you won that 24/7 Championship. Becky and Sasha tore each other apart in their Hell in a Cell Match. And right on the other side of that curtain, Charlotte and Bayley are waging war for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Meanwhile, you’re back here undoing all their hard work by running around naked and making us a laughing stock!”

“I’M NOT NAKED BY CHOICE!” Camella explodes. “This happened because I’ve spent most of last hour getting jumped and chased around by all of you! This all started when Sarah Logan jumped me in the shower! Do you think I WANTED to be pinned while I was half naked wearing only a towel!?”

“Maybe not,” Dana replies, “But I was there lying on the floor when you snuck up on Sarah in your towel and yanked her trunks down. You might not have started this. But you ARE the reason it’s been escalating."

"We all saw what you did to Bliss and Cross on Smackdown," Tamina chimes. "That was the big premiere on a new network! And you went and made a mockery of the Women's Tag Team Champions!"

“It ends now, Carmella,” Natalya insists. “The best thing for this division and this company is to get you as far from that 24/7 Championship as possible.”
