Slight Adjustments

It didn't take May long to find Caroline.

"What do you think, mom?" May inquired, only to feel a contact lense be shoved into her eye. A second one followed right after.

"It needs some slight adjustments." Caroline remarked, leading her daughter into the bathroom. For now, she would let May's tone and behavior slide for the moment. After all, that stuff could be mended in the coming days.

What needed to be fixed right now, was the color of his hair. The style was something May would need to learn herself, especially if she wanted to be her mother's favorite.

"Hold still."

May complied, feeling her bandanna get pulled off. What followed, was an aerosol can being sprayed over her hair and turn it all brunette.

"That's much better." Caroline chimed, focusing in on her daughter. "Right, dear?"

May gulped.

"Yes, mom." she answered.
