It does but at a cost

As Laurel and Felicity waited in the closet, bare bodies rubbing uncomfortably against one another, the men searched the apartment and saw the blanket leading out the window and down to the street. Just as Laurel wanted, they assumed that they had gone out the window and were preparing to leave the apartment to look for them. As they left, Laurel heard muffled talking and moved closer to the door to hear. Putting her ear against the door, Laurel felt the pressure of the door pushing her breasts into her chest as well as Felicity's against her back. She couldn't help but cringe as her bare ass bumped into Felicity repeatedly as she tried to listen.

She couldn't hear much but heard several lewd comments about their state of undress and something about 'just in case'. Laurel didn't quite know what to make of it but brushed it off once she heard the front door of the apartment open and then close. Her bluff had worked, they thought they were already gone and now they were safe to get dressed and head to A.R.G.U.S.

"I think they've left" she whispered to Felicity.

"Are you sure?" she whimpered.

"One second." Laurel slightly opened the door and peeked out to survey the room. It seemed that they hadn't left anyone behind. "It's clear."

She pushed the door opened and they both entered the room. Laurel took the opportunity to stretch her muscles, now that she had the room to do so, completely disregarding her own nudity until she turned around to see Felicity covering up as best she could.

"We should probably get dressed, shouldn't we?" Laurel said.

"You think?" Felicity replied still mortified over being naked in front of so many people. Laurel led the way back to the bedroom and threw open the door before Felicity ran straight for her wardrobe. However when she opened it up she found something horrible. "It's empty."

"What?" Laurel was horrified when she checked the wardrobe and found that there was nothing inside. She remembered what she heard the men earlier and figured that the 'just in case' was likely taking all their clothes in case they came back. "Those sons of bitches" Laurel could barely contain her anger.

"They couldn't have taken everything" Felicity said hopefully before running out to search the rest of the apartment. Laurel quickly joined her but after several minutes of searching it became apparent that they had taken all the the clothes, the towels and the sheets. Basically anything that would make a decent covering was gone.

"Crap" Felicity said now on the brink of tears.

"We can't stay here" Laurel said arms by her side. With the night she was having, she had long since given up on any sense of modesty. "They'll come back eventually, we have to get somewhere safe".

"We can't run naked down the streets," Felicity said. Unlike Laurel she was still trying to preserve her dignity with her arms over her breasts.

"I did, twice"

"Well...I," Felicity stammered at a lost for words. "I can't do it. I'll never live it down if someone sees me"

"It's the middle of the night, there's no one out there"

"Except the maniacs who want to kill us"

"That's a chance we have to take, we need to get help" Although she was still clearly embarrassed, Felicity couldn't deny that they needed to find something to cover themselves and they couldn't do that alone.

"Ok, so where do we go?"
