What do they do?

A misdirection

Laurel briefly considered leaping out the window again as she did last time but before she had the chance she thought about how they might remember it and whether or not they took precautions. With only seconds to spare Laurel ran to the window and pushed it wide open.

"We're going out the window?" Felicity asked, visibly concerned.

"No," Laurel replied casually before turning around to scan the room. "Get the closet open."

As Felicity obeyed, Laurel grabbed a nearby blanket and tied one end around a table leg before chucking the other out the window. Hoping that it would be enough to mislead their assailants, Laurel ran to the closet to join Felicity. As she squeezed in, she noticed that the closet space was much smaller than she expected and the two nude women were pressed together uncomfortably close causing a high pitched squeak from Felicity.

"Couldn't you find another hiding place?" Felicity asked.

"We don't have time now" Laurel whispered back not willing to admit that in the rush of the moment she hadn't even considered that.

They both fell silent as they heard the front door open and several men pour into the apartment and begin the search.
