I tell my friends the truth.

"should i tell them the truth ?", i whisper to my mom while my friends are still reacting.

"Yes, you should, because this is your fault, remember", my mother whispers me back.

"Okay so..., could you give an explanation now", Henry says, as my other friends also go silent awaiting my response.

"Well...", I begin to speak, "the thing is..", i struggle to say, as i'm rather nervous.

"What", Anna says.

"Okay, so basically what happened was that i have no clothes because i burned my own room", i respond while my friends either go silent for the empathy, or begin to laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation.

"Really, you burned down your OWN ROOM, how did it even happen ?", Gabby replied while almost laughting.

"It's a long story...,but what happened was that i recieved a couple of perfumed candles from my aunt, and i accidentaly lit them on my wooden desk", you admit.

"You really should have been more careful about it", Carl said.

"I KNOW, so please, could all of you be more considerate of my situation", i pleaded with them.

"Don't worry Lauren, we will support you in this", Jade replied.

"Thanks, i really apreciate it", I replied.

"By the way, if your clothes were destroyed, couldn't you mother at least gave you something to wear ?", Anna argued.

"Well, it's her fault that her own room caught in fire, besides, i don't have money for both new clothes and the reparations", my mother intervened.

"Well, it case i have an excelent idea to fix Lauren's problem", Jade added in.
